It’s Like A Zoo In Here

"Ugh, it's like a zoo in here," he complained under his breath, waving his hand in front of his nose. "You really know how to ruin a perfectly good evening."

He moved to wash his hands meticulously at the sink, checking his clothes for any signs of vomit. Finding none, he let out a sigh of relief.

Turning to Lucia, he rolled up his sleeves. "You really are something," he muttered, a hint of reluctant admiration in his voice. "You've managed to make me your nanny." He approached her, holding her hair back and rubbing her back in a comforting rhythm.

"No more alcohol for you." Crawford joked weakly, trying to lighten the mood as he continued to support her.

Lucia, still in the throes of her drunken state, could only groan in response, her world spinning as much as her head.
