Running Into Old Friends

As Lucia handed out flyers with a practiced smile, a young man approached, his eyes checking out Lucia. He reached out, his fingers brushing against hers as he took a flyer. "I'll definitely come over to try it out," he said, his smile lingering like the afterglow of a sunset as he walked away.

Samantha, ever the observer, whistled softly. "God damn, Lucia, you're getting hit on by a college student."

Lucia's brow furrowed in confusion. "What eyes of yours saw me getting hit on? He just collected the flyer."

With a sigh and a roll of her eyes, Samantha teased, "I almost forgot how dull you were in that department. Anyway, the old hot customer got competition with this new young potential customer."

"Crawford's not that old," Lucia defended, her voice tinged with a hint of annoyance.

"Now how the hell did you know?"

"He..he just doesn't look that old."
