As Lucia and Bradley emerged from the building, the cool night air brushed against Lucia's cheeks, prompting a deep sigh of relief to escape her lips. She glanced back through the glass doors, her eyes narrowing slightly. Why is he always here? Is he sick or something? she pondered, her gaze lingering on the elevator inside.
"Lucia?" Bradley's voice cut through her thoughts, warm yet tinged with concern. "Yeah?" she replied, turning to face him. His brow was furrowed, eyes searching hers. "Are you okay? You keep looking back. Did you forget something in there?"
Lucia shook her head, a wisp of hair falling across her face. "No, not at all. Let's go," she said.
