"Here the buns." Ren said as she tossed them to jungkook.
"What's wrong with you?" Jimin asked as he examined her.
"Nothing." Ren answered as she got a soda to drink.
Jimin turned to look at the others and then shrugged.
They all began to eat and Ren was in a different land.
"Helloooooo! Ren?" J-hope waved his hands infront of her.
Ren looked at him and asked, "what?"
"What houses will you buy?" He asked.
"I already have them marked up." Ren replied as she pointed at the paper.
Rm stood up to grab it and look through it.
"A house in San Antonio?" Jungkook asked.
"I want a house in all the big cities. Usually, people don't have anywhere to go right afterwards. So, I thought about them being able to stay a night there." Ren informed them.
"We have to have someone to own them though. You can't own them all or people will suspect how your so rich." J-hope said as he thought.
Ren nodded her head and said. "I don't want to risk any of us. So, we need innocent people that would like to risk their lives."
Rm said. "I can go look on the other side."
"What?" Jimin asked.
Ren looked at him and said "I'm thinking if that's a good idea."
Tae asked. "Still thinking about that dude?"
Jungkook laughed and said. "We're here to risk it all Ren. Don't worry about us. We know what we're doing."
Ren sighed and said. "Ok do what you guys like but don't call me when you're in your cell."
"Wow! The hope you have in us." Jin laughed.
Ren rolled her eyes. "You guys do better bringing the people here to the house."
"We know the tricks in passing the people over." Rm informed her.
"Mhm." Ren nodded. "Alright, go over the border tonight and figure that out. But take J-hope." She added.
"What?! Why?!" Rm looked upset.
Ren furrowed her eyebrows. "What? You don't like him?" She wanted to laugh.
J-hope gasped.
Rm stuttered. "I-i do but... Why do I have to go with someone? You don't trust me?"
"I thought you wouldn't want to be lonely." Ren suggested as she shrugged.
J-hope said. "He doesn't want me."
Rm sighed. "No, let's go together. I just think it would be more risky if it was two."
Ren looked at him annoyed. "I have traveled up to 25 people and you complaining about one person."
Jimin laughed really loud. "I'll go with you if you don't want J-hope."
Rm squinted his eyes. "What's the difference between you and him?"
Ren sighed and asked Tae. "When is the next trip?"
Tae said. "Tomorrow, I'm going into the village to pick up some people."
Ren ordered him before she went to bed. "Don't forget to ask their names."
The next day Ren got ready and investigated each individual she would take. It was mostly a bunch of teens with a few older people.
"How's is going?" Tae asked.
Ren nodded her head with a soft smile. "No criminal record. They're clean."
"On paper." She added with a chuckle.
Tae sighed. "I don't get why we can't just have normal humans come to us for help. Why there got to be a crazy one in the group?"
They both laughed and she shrugged.
Jimin came in with the people and Ren stood up.
"Hope you guys are ready cause we're leaving right now." Ren informed them.
"What? You aren't waiting until tonight?" Jungkook asked concerned.
"Why wait? Let's get this done." Ren stated as she grabbed her backpack that had water in it.
Jimin reminded jungkook about the crazy weather from last time.
Tae said. "You never know what this crazy weather will bring us anytime."
Ren couldn't take her eyes off of a particular man around his 40's that she didn't like but Tae caught her gaze.
"I'll go with yo-" Tae tried to suggest his help but she dodged it.
"Stay here and watch the border. You're more help here than over there."
Jimin sighed. "I hope the signal don't go out like last time."
"Ugh! Shut up." Ren made a ugly face at him.
Jimin began to laugh really loud. "You got this Ren." He cheered for her.
She left and saw that it was just a girl around 16 years old and the rest of the guys were around her age. The one that did look kind of bad was the guy in his 40's. Yet, she didn't want to judge by appearance but the feeling was there. They walked through the desert and some became friends others still quiet. Ren began to have second thoughts and decided to make a dangerous turn. No one knew what she was doing but it was just for the safety of the other side.
"The border patrol!" One of the guys shouted.
Ren knew well though it was just part of the plan.
"Hurry up! Follow me!" She shouted at them.
They were able to hide but patrol was suspicious. They didn't leave the area and they were forced to stay in hiding for the night.
"Will we stay here?" The girl asked.
Ren said. "They will eventually leave. I'm sure by tomorrow morning we'll be able to cross to the other side. It's dangerous now."
The old man in his 40's didn't seem to mind and Ren tried not to look at him that much. They all took advantage of this moment to drink water and rest. Ren laid back on her backpack and put her hands on her stomach. She gazed up at the stars and hoped the feelings were wrong.
A couple of hours past by and she checked up on the people around her but everything seemed fine.
When Ren woke up she had sand all over her face and she carefully rubbed her eyes. She heard a soft whine and her blood boiled.
Ren held up her gun and pointed it towards the back of his head.
"Get the fuck off of her or I'll blow your head right now!" Ren was trying really hard to hold back. He stood up and the girl rushed away.
"I will not cross you over! You will stay here and figure this out on your fuckin on." Ren glared at him.
"The patrol is coming!" One of the guys shouted.
Ren said "Let's go!" She pointed to where they should head and they headed over there without her.
"You make me sick! I hope they grab you and lock you up." She informed him before putting her gun down and running with the others.
"You can't leave me here! I fuckin paid you bitch!" He yelled from behind her and ran a different direction.
"Make the patrol follow him and not us, God." Ren begged as she catched up to the others to lead the way.
After, awhile she made a turn where she knew it was much safer than the other route.
"The truck went towards the other guy." One of the guys informed Ren.
"I had a feeling the truck would go the other way." Ren informed them as she stopped to drink water.
"Why?" The girl asked.
"It's to many of us for one patrol agent to control us all. Especially, if he/she is new they don't really know much yet. However, some really got balls to control a whole big group." Ren smiled as she had heard of the bad luck of others.
They continued the journey and made it across. Ren ended up meeting up with J-hope and Rm on the other side.
"We have a problem." J-hope informed her before she took a seat on a bench across from him at the park.
