When Ren woke up Yoongi wasn't there in the chair. She looked out her window and his truck wasn't there. She got ready for the day and a few teenagers she had crossed over were helping her mom with deliveries. If people didn't have money to pay to cross over then they usually had to help her mom or Ren in something.
"I think I'm going back home." Ren said to her mom.
"You feel better?" She asked.
"I got what I wanted and Yoongi has left me alone that's what I wanted. He will probably come back here again but I don't want to be here when he comes back. I don't think it's a good idea for him to be getting to comfy."
"Alright, but be careful."
Ren ended up leaving. "Hey Jimin. I'm going back home. I'll let you know when I'm close. So, you can pick me up." She said through the phone and then hanged up.
"Well well well if it isn't the border girl." A guy drove by Ren.
"What do you want, Cham?" Ren asked as she turned to look at him.
"Have you thought about my offer?" He asked.
Ren rolled her eyes. "I already told you. I don't fuck with gangs."
"Just pass my drugs with your people and you'll have extra money."
"I don't need your money. I have more than enough to make me happy my way." Ren began to walk again.
"Remember, what you say."
"Is that a threat?"
"Threat is more of if you don't get in my car I'll shoot you." Cham laughed at his example.
Ren stopped to look at him. "I don't do dirty work like that. I only help people cross over. That's it. Nothing else. Go find someone else."
Cham got off his car. "See that's the thing. You're the only one who manages to survive out here and isn't dirty. I can't find a single person that is like you."
Ren nodded her head. "That's to bad but I don't care. Have a good day."
He grabbed her arm but she quicky pulled away.
"Don't touch me Cham! Go fuk off." Ren was getting ready to hurt him.
He laughed. "See most girls would beg for me to let go of them but you. You fight your way out."
Ren began to walk away. "I won't wait for someone to help me. Either way no one would confront you."
He catched up to her. "Why?"
Ren stopped to look at him. "How stupid are you? Ohhh I see you want me to give you compliments of how you get away with everything. Nah, I don't work like that."
He sighed and took his sunglasses off. "I'll drive you home."
"I'm getting picked up soon."
"Soon?" He laughed.
Ren said. "I don't need a ride. If I wanted one I would have got one a long time ago or I would get in with you."
"I think you're just to scared to get in with me."
"I don't need anyone relating me to you. I'm good with the law and want to stay like that." Ren began to walk away.
Cham got in his corvette and drove by her saying. "I'll see you soon, Ren."
Once, he left her alone she sighed. "Get out of one thing but then get involved in another thing."
Ren came to a stop and thought why was he alone in the first place. He never drove around without protection from his gang members. She heard the sirens from behind and turned around.
"Crap!" Ren began to run into the desert and tried to hide. A awful smell came from behind a few desert plants. She went to go see and it was three decomposing bodies. Ren covered her nose and mouth. She quickly backed away and tried not to vomit.
"Dumb Cham probably killed them and threw their bodies here. I'm going to kick his butt when I see him. Ugh, I hope I don't see him!" Ren got furious as she almost got involved in this horrible murder.
Jimin finally picked her up and asked what was wrong.
"I saw a few bodies dumbed back there..."
Jimin said. "Poor people. I wish they came to us for help."
Ren tried to erase that bad memory like the other ones.
Ren changed the conversation. "How's business?"
"Well, first of all our neighbors think you were taken into custody. Second of all we are doing okay..."
"Okay...?" Ren furrowed her eyebrows.
Jimin sighed. "We been running into border patrol a lot more and temperatures are getting very high. It's getting kind of hard to not have anyone dehydrated. Also, we've encountered I think a couple of gang members on the run."
"Just don't get in their way or they'll kill you." Ren informed him.
Jimin said. "Even if you aren't they'll come look for trouble."
That was very true and if they saw you were a girl they wouldn't leave you alone. Young boys were chased by them too.
They got home and she saw the neighbors. Ren tried not to say anything rude to them as she walked by them.
Ren asked Jimin before going inside. "Doesn't it suck when people call the cops on you for no reason?"
Jimin laughed and said. "I think only idiots do that."
Ren sarcastically laughed and they went inside.
Ren stayed home as the guys went out to do their jobs and Ren called her mom.
"Has Yoongi gone to buy bread?" Ren asked.
"No, he hasn't. Maybe, later he will. I mean he can't come everyday if he were then he would gain weight. That's not healthy. Ren don't pressure him."
"I'm not!" Ren laughed.
Ren looked out her window at night to see if Yoongi got home but he never did.
Sadly, another day went by and she got worried. Ren got her laptop and looked up the camera that was on Yoongi's laptop. However, someone else was using it. She turned on the microphone and heard the man saying. "I haven't found any information or clues to see who may have abducted agent Yoongi. Whoever has him probably killed him by now."
Ren shut her laptop and called the guys. "Someone kidnapped Yoongi!"
