Between biological father and daughter, there's always something magical; with just one look into each other's eyes, they can understand what the other is thinking.

Gordon raised his finger, tenderly cradling Mia's plump cheeks, and said to her with utmost seriousness:

"Mia, what your Daddy just said is not true, he's just playing a game with you."

He could feel that today he probably wouldn't be walking out of this villa alive.

If today was destined to be his last day, then he would rather Mia never know that he was her father.

He had never fulfilled his responsibilities as a father, nor had he ever taken care of Mia. He didn't deserve such a wonderful daughter, nor to be called 'Dad' by her.

Gordon's fingers traced from Mia's eyes and brows down to her shoulders. Reluctantly letting go of her, he knew he had to.

Feeling that the strange uncle was about to release her, Mia panicked and quickly hugged him, crying out:
