Not long after he went out, Cole came back, handing out a small vial with transparent liquid to her. Aretha passed by the man, sat by the bedside and poured out the liquid into the little girl's mouth.
The man who was believed to be the doctor did not stop her. He himself could not do so even though he truly wanted to. As a doctor, how could he let the young lady who suddenly came, to feed the little girl with a suspicious liquid. However, he could not moved as he pleased.
The grimace on the little girl's face soon dissipated. Her groaning of pain turned to soft and calm breathing.
Casandra barged in shouting, "My Lady!"
"You here."
"My Lady. I have heard from Sir Rufus. Please let me examined Young Lady Diana."
"I gave her an antidote earlier. Although she had not shown the agony in her face anymore, I would not be convinced until you could make every little discomfort away from her body," she said as she rose and gave some space to Casandra.
