"What do you mean feign ignorance, My Lady?" Lloyd said, shrugging his shoulders.

"I supposed I do not have to hold myself from asking," Aretha replied, and asked the maid to serve them warm tea.

"Whatever within my knowledge, I shall be sure to give you the most satisfying answer if that were your wish."

"May I know the principle of the magic you used to control a person consciousness?"

"Hmm… You might say it was the same as going into the person house, tied them up, blindfolded them, and searched all around their house to our heart content. Oh, no, not to our heart content… only for some limited time."

"Was it their soul, or their mind?"

"Their mind, where the subconscious and conscious lies. Taking control of their soul would go against the nature of a human, and was considered immoral to rob away a person's free will. Well, that was impossible to begin with, I mean, to take control of a person soul."
