Chapter 34 - Trusts and Friendships

Third person POV

After the explanation by her father, Asuka, and Yumiko, Mika now gets it. "Oh, so that's why…" Asuka then nodded. "Yes, the reason I didn't tell you that is that it's pointless for me to show off my status."

 "Oh…"

"Yes," Yumiko responded back on Asuka's behalf, "and Mr. Asuka had been learning while working here. His late mother had been establishing the new and unique model of this company long before Mr. Asuka was born."

Mika then nodded, before looking at Asuka. "Asuka-kun, I didn't know you were so capable of managing this company. You're so cool!"

"Yes," Asuka replied back while being a bit overwhelmed by her compliments. "Thanks, Mika-chan."

This nickname from him caused the high school girl to blush a bit, but she managed to hide it from him.

This was a sign that she was now in love with Asuka.

And as the days passed by, Asuka and Akihito's work in the Student Council at school became more and more efficient, and both of them are now used to it, even though the term for it was short. Both high school boys also struck friendships and trust with some people in the Student Council as they worked with them during the weekdays. Niko and Aki were relieved that their siblings managed to adapt to their new, additional roles so well. At the same time, Mika was now falling for Asuka a little bit more day after day while hiding it from her classmates at school.
