Chapter 3

Distraction!

Seeing the cops surroundings them and their guns pointing at their direction , the crime lord weren't least bit panicked.

Instead everyone looked at each other and confirmed one thing.

There is a traitor among us !

Charles Dickens looked at them and said with serious face

"Surrender immediately or else things won't be easy for you people...."

He was astonished to see that the three crime lords would be having a meeting like this !

He never imagined that these three people who were shaking the whole country was meeting here casually with no bodyguard or carefully.

And they didn't even look like a crime lord at all . They simply looked same as commoners except that they had something weird aura around them , which makes them lightly different from others.

Except that they were nothing special about them.

"Now will you obediently surrender or you want it in hard way ?"

The situation was tense and one wrong move ...it will end up in bloodbath.

But the strange this is , those cops who thought they had the situation in control was having tension in their minds and their face looked serious .

On the contrary , the Crime lords had calm face now . They weren't least bothered about their current situation now .

Charles Dickens narrowed his eyes and a bad feeling rose in his mind .

V slowly smirked and his voice was deep but filled with mockery

"How about .....not choosing at all?"

Charles Dickens bad feeling immediately gave him warning . Before he could say anything -

"Cough"

Vixen coughed suddenly which made everyone nerves jump for a second so immediately every eyes focused on her and they pointed guns at her direction.

It was a fatal mistake !

V The first crime lord immediately took out a grenade from his pocket and threw it to the group of cops .

Charles Dickens who was in caution from the beginning immediately noticed his actions and yelled at his team

"Everyone move out!"

But it was too late !

Boom !

A loud shockwave resulted in ten meter destruction around the area and many of the people couldn't even scream before dying.

Fire started to cover the warehouse and smoke spread everywhere.

"Cough.....coug..h...."

Charles Dickens was badly injured and he couldn't move from the shockwave impact. He could only move his head and saw many of his team were screaming in agony from pain.

While some remained silent permanently. The warehouse was filled with bodies and blood of his team members but he couldn't even move or save them now .

It made him feel anger and despair.

He tried to get up but his body couldn't move at all so he can only helplessly watch his people die slowly.

The Disguised cops who were outside the warehouse was shocked to witness the explosion and they immediately knew that the mission was going to fail.

One of them yelled angrily

"What the fuck are you all watching for ? Everybody go and search for survivors !"

They woke up from their captain shout and rushed towards the warehouse .

There were Screams , yelling , Siren sounds and death which occupied this disaster. But in the middle of everything , Three people slowly exited from the scene and no one bothered to notice their presence.

The three people slowly moved away from the church and went to nearby cafe , Slowly bending in with the other people who were watching the scene from afar.

"It seems ...they never learn . Do they ?"

The fat man now looked like a slim person but his dangerous aura around him wasn't even faded a lit bit .

A tall girl who covered half of her face with a hat said slowly

"Not everyone can be cunning as you !"

Viper grunted at her reply and looked around before saying in hesitation

"Where is he ?"

The Vixen who was also looking at V failed to find him in the crowd .

"He must have gone ...."

Viper narrowed his eyes and said coldly

"Seems like we have to stop meeting for some while ....till we find the traitor !"

Vixen took out a cigar and lit it after taking a light puff from it . She slowly walked away from the crowd but her cold yet seductive voice made viper feel chill all over his body

"He is already taken care of ....."

Viper glanced at her and slowly thought.

'Vixen..... what's her bottom line ?'

But one thing he knew about her is that ....she was scary !

Much scarier than V!

He scanned the crowds and made sure no one noticed him before leaving quietly .

The plan to capture crime lords failed and they failed miserably .

A guy was looking at the scene from above the tallest appartment near the church .

He wore a black mask that made people hard to notice his facial features .

He was V , The First and strongest crime lord of the Siren Island.

He was now calmly watching the scene from above and no one knows what he was thinking next .

Suddenly behind him a person appeared slowly, climbing the stairs without making noises.

He pointed his gun at the direction of V , but he was shaking and so were his emotions .

V didn't look back , instead he calmly said to the person behind him.

"Why ?"

He didn't feel shock or fear when he had a gun pointing at his head from behind . Instead he asked question without fear or any emotions.

That person who was pointing his gun was his best right handed man ....No he was even more closer than his family .

He was his trustworthy friend and he was the only person he could trust in this world but now that person is slowly pointing his gun at him .

He was Edward Snowden.....

Edward was trembling but his eyes were determined ...

He tried to hide his fear but he couldn't ...

"Why ?....If I kill you... wouldn't I be the next crime lord ??? ....I worked for you all these years but I can be only second to you ! No one even acknowledge me as a human because of your existence ....If you die ...I will be the next crime lord ....hahah what can I even ask for more now ?"

At the end of the sentences he was laughing like a madman but V was very calm . He slowly turned back and stood up , this casual move made Edward take a step back in fear .

Sensing his own fear , Edward became humiliated and immediately lashed out in rage.

"Don't move or else I will shoot you !"

V faced towards his trusted friend and said slowly but his voice wasn't deep like before but it was filled with melancholy.

"You may lie to everyone in these world but you can't fool me with these reasons Edward...you can't wait any more ....to get revenge .Can you?"

Edward Snowden was shocked when he heard his words .
