A new planet

Astra opened her eyes and as expected, she was nowhere near her home.

Getting up from the ground where she and her friends lay she looked around in her back to make sure the cub was still there, hearing a soft pur as she did so.

The cat looked out of the back, its head tilted to the side as if it were confused.

"Thank goodness," Astra muttered as she shut the bag, giving the cub enough room to breathe.

"What happened." She heard someone mutter near her.

Scared, she turned around, picking up a stick to defend herself, but only saw her friends getting up from their slumber.

Dawn held her head in fatigue, as she got up.

She opened her eyes to see Astra holding a stick aiming it in her direction.

"You ok?" Dawn looked at Astra confused.

"Where are we," Juno muttered as he got up as well.

no one but Astra remembered what happened and couldn't recall the events leading up to this.

Astra sighed as she dropped the stick.

"I don't know," She muttered.

Dawn got up from the ground, and so did Juno, looking up at the dark night sky.

The stars seemed a lot closer than they were on Earth, and so did the moon.

Dawn reached into her pockets to pull out her phone though the interference from Astra's watch made the phone practically useless now.

"It won't turn on," She muttered in frustration, rabidly clicking the power button.

Astra looked around where they stood.

They were surrounded by forests and plants, although shining lights could be seen down the forest.

"Maybe we should go there?" Astra suggested pointing down the forest.

Dawn nodded, and so did Juno.

Astra picked up the stick she once placed on the ground and trotted on, her friends following closely behind.

___

"We have our sights on planet XO2." a man notified at a control panel, he was wearing a blue jacket and a watch on his risk looking similar to Astra's.

"Should we proceed with the bombing?" He asked, his voice echoing through the walls of the shuttle he was in.

Silence took its place in the shuttle as it slowly drifted into space.

"Proceed," A distorted voice muttered in the silence.

The man nodded, pulling a lever, and making the space shuttle go forward.

______

Astra and the others kept following the light and found themselves in a sci-fi landscape, although, no one was there.

The lights flickered as they slowly ran out of battery, signs fell off from buildings and it seemed like the village was evacuated.

"I don't think we're on earth anymore-" Juno muttered as he hid behind Astra.

"Yeah.." Dawn agreed, looking around the place and feeling an eerie presence emerging.

As the lights flickered, soon they shut down leaving the town in complete darkness.

Astra and the others freaked out as they could no longer see what was happening only to find one singular beam of light in the sky.

It came straight at them and soon blew up the planet.
