For the next few days, everything seemed to happen in a blur.
However, Scarlet was glad that she nodded longer saw Vance around. It was almost as though he had disappeared or was bent on not meeting her (fine by her) at all after all that had happened.
All of which didn't bother Scarlet.
However, what truly bothered her was the coincidental disappearance of the system as well. What is going on! she wondered as she sat at the library and wondered.
Suddenly, her vision darkened and someone had covered her eyes from behind. It was a nice, faint and sweet scent. The one that Sam usually wears and she smiled in delight.
"Sam? What's up?" she asked and then she was blindfolded as a ribbon was tied across her eyes.
She couldn't see anything just as Sam planted a kiss on her. And she hugged adorably him like a koala bear. Although he was just a mission, she had really began to grow quite attached to his pretty face. She couldn't wait to start a life together with him and she wanted to hear about his backstory!
"Is it a tradition over here that brides-to-be cannot see the groom's face or their marriage will be jinxed?" Scarlet pondered aloud as her clothes were gradually being removed and she felt cold. However, not for long. Soon, warmth enveloped her and she could feel how warm Sam's body was as he slowly kissed her from the top of her head all the way down and he slowly savoured her, as though she were a dessert and he was a sugar addict. She could feel her entire body tingling with pleasure.
She heard a sigh and then a grunt just as she felt an immense wave of pleasure. It felt a little different from the previous. 'Sam' felt needier and he seemed reluctant to let her go. It was almost as though she were truly a drug.
Sighing, 'Sam' kissed her lightly on her lips and he left, placing a coat over her.
"Okay, bye?" Scarlet got up, weak from the earlier moments. It was much more intense than the previous round in the cave and she glanced at the mirror in shock. She was covered in bruises and her entire neck was bruised. If she didn't know better, she would have thought that she was attacked by a animal given the number of bruises on her legs, her inner thighs and her chest.
Absence makes the heart fonder, I guess? She shrugged just as she placed the cape around her body. It was getting cold. She paused after looking at it.
Her heart lurched. What was the prince's previous cape doing here? She dropped it quickly as though an electric current had just coursed through her.
It can't be.... Him, could it? He can't be that desperate and crazy, could he? Impersonating as Sam just to spend a night with her? What is he? An imposter? A cheater? A swindler?
She shook her head vehemently as she stepped on the cape and quickly walked out of the place in disgust.
