Tell It to the Ocean

Hope, Newt, and Albus boarded the ship sailing from New York to England by late afternoon. They thought it might be in the other guests' best interest that they contain her in the room for the trip. This way, she could refuel herself with blood before returning to Hogwarts and being among students.

Entering the little room, she immediately moved to the little circular window by the bedside table and smiled, peering through. They were still in the harbor, but she didn't care. It was her first time being on a boat, and while the ocean terrified her, she knew everything would be okay if she were there with Newt and Albus.

Looking around the room again, she noticed something that made her raise her brow at them. "One bed?" She smirked.

Albus chuckled, glancing her way with a knowing look. "No worries, I have the room next to this one, and I am going to bed." He started for the door, glancing over his shoulder. "Goodnight." He closed the door behind him.

Hope sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, watching Newt pour out a cup of blood for her. Knowing full well, Albus had locked them inside but knew he'd likely not be sleeping, as he said. He'd be listening intently to make sure she didn't lose control.

She took the cup from him and bit her lip. "I'm sorry for this morning. I've been a little on edge." Hope murmured, taking a sip of blood and letting it warm her body.

Newt nodded, sitting next to her. He stroked the stray hairs behind her ear and offered a soft smile. "You've been through something terrible. It wasn't right of me to make you think you weren't justified in your actions against Henry. You were."

"It's okay if you don't agree," she looked over at him, brows knitting together, "I like that about you. Knowing that you see the good in everyone. I'm just past the point of seeing that in him myself. I won't ever demand you agree with me, but I'd like the same courtesy. Within reason, of course." She pursed her lips.

"You protected me, Hope. Yes, you were angry with him and wanted revenge, but-"

"Not just angry," she murmured, not meeting his eyes, "I hate him, Newt." Her voice quivered. "Yes, I was protecting, but I wanted him to pay. To feel the pain I've been feeling for the past two and a half years. I don't ever want to get to the point where I'm monstrously murdering innocent people, but I will always try to protect myself and those I love. Even if it means taking a life."

Newt nodded slowly, resting his hand on her thigh, caressing her lightly. "I'm so sorry, Hope." He breathed, pressing his forehead against her temple.

Carefully, Hope drank the last of her blood. The little bit helped her to feel more energetic. More herself.

"I love you," Newt whispered against her skin.

The cup in Hope's hand fell to the ground with a light thud, and she turned to look at him, meeting his green gaze. Inside, the ship was darker as very little light came in on the gray, snowy day in the harbor, but she could see the resoluteness those eyes held.

He repeated himself as if he wasn't sure if she'd heard him correctly. "I love you, Hope."

Her eyes searched for his face a moment longer before warmth flooded her, tears pooling in her eyes. "I love you too…" And she meant it with all her heart. Hope couldn't bottle the amount of love she had for this man.

It was wild and untamed. It was perfect.

Their instincts seemed to come together simultaneously, pulling each other close as their lips connected in a fierce, passionate kiss. Hope gasped around his tongue as she felt his hands settling on her waist, pulling at the dress that suddenly seemed too constricting.

"Take it off." She whispered against his mouth, feeling flushed from the top of her head to her toes.

Newt didn't hesitate, taking the hem of her dress and pulling up to discard it onto the floor. His hands were on her again, thumbs tracing her ribs- making her shudder. As she undid his suspenders, he unclasped her bra and pulled her closer. He kissed sloppily down the side of her neck while pushing his pants down and wiggling out of them.

They discarded their clothing til their hot-bared skin melted against each other. Newt cradled her head, laying Hope's head back onto the pillow before leaning down to kiss her lips again. Letting their tongues tangle as their hips met with a slow, grinding pace. She could feel him against her, long and hard.

While one hand cradled her cheek in their kiss, his other skimmed down her soft belly and cupped her mound.

Hope whined softly in his mouth as he coaxed a finger through her wet folds, practically petting her until she was dripping. Her heels instinctively rose to rest on the curve of his ass, her arms wrapping around his neck so that her fingers could plunge into his soft curls.

He slowly pulled his lips away from hers, pressing his forehead against hers, and for a moment, they stayed like that. They gazed into each other's eyes with his tip pressed against her entrance.

The room seemed to rise in temperature as he began pushing into her. Inch by inch, filling her so nicely, Hope whined in pleasure. There was no tightness, nothing telling her to take it slow as her hot channel naturally fit around him. There was no way she hadn't done this before.

"Don't stop," she murmured, seeing his pained look of pleasure mixed with his uncertainty of hurting her, "it feels amazing. Don't stop."

It was what Newt needed to push himself the rest of the way in, groaning against her neck as his hips connected with hers. Hope swirled her hips in a slow circle, earning another moan from him before he began to pull out, only to push back into her. Faster this time, more confident.

Newt's hips began to hit a rhythm as the minutes passed, slow and deep but consistent. Hope realized then why the rhythm felt so good, it was the same as the rolling waves just outside their window. Steady but powerful.

Hope could feel the tide slowly rising.

Their lips met again, but now they were beginning to lose their breath. Sweat dewing their skin the harsher his thrusts became. The bed started to squeak, and Hope could feel his budding desperation, and he suddenly thrust harder and faster. Thank goodness they nailed the headboard to the wall, but the mattress itself was flimsy and slid back and forth.

"Newt." Hope gasped against his lips; she rose higher, just a little more, and she could jump off the cliff. Seeming to sense this, he continued the same rhythm but used his hands to lift her hips just a little, forcing his tip to rub against her roof.

Hope's jaw dropped, her clit quivering as she dropped her hands to the pillows beside her. Watching his face, loving the manic look in his eyes that always appeared when he was close to coming. He parted his lips, watching her face in return before his eyes rolled over, and his entire body stiffened.

She felt his cock surge inside of her, but it was the look on his face of desperate pleasure that pushed her over the edge and forced her to cum with him.

Hope pulsed around his cock, and they cried out together, slowly coming down from the free fall. Newt slowly pulled himself out with a slick slide, making Hope whimper.

"You're bleeding," Newt murmured, still a bit breathless, taking her hand in his as he rested carefully on her, not wanting to part with their proximity yet.

Hope looked at her palms, realizing she must have clenched her fingers too tightly, but she could only grin at him.

"Hm, guess you have proof it was good."

Shaking his head, he laughed and kissed her lips. "It'll always be good with you…because it's you."

Hope stroked her fingers along the back of his neck. "I love you." She whispered against his skin.

His lips ghosted her temple. "And I love you."

They ventured under the blanket and fell asleep to each other's soft caresses—the worry of the world behind them.

For now.
