I ESCAPED CULTISTS

“Geez, its already 6am. I’m definitely going to be late today”, I said as I rushed to the bathroom to get ready for class. I had worked so hard yesterday that it affected my sleep over the night. Rain fell all through the night but I didn’t notice as I was off to another planet.

I got prepared in forty-five minutes, took my bag and headed off to class. I was walking so fast that I didn’t notice I forgot my sweater. My house was an eight minutes walk from the main road. At my pace, I was going to cover it in four.

As I walked, I sighted Daddy Favour, my sister’s mentor’s husband. He wasn’t neatly dressed;he wore a tattered cloth, had a bag round his left shoulder and was walking slowly. I presumed he was going to his farm.
