Ana nodded sadly as she crouched down to be at the same height as the kids. "I'm sorry, I haven't. When was the last time you saw her?" She asked.

Tears started to well up in her eyes as her friends tried to console her. "She's been missing for over a week now." another kid said.

Ana looked up at Valerian as she mouthed the words, "A week ago? Like Trois' mom"

Valerian nodded at her. Valerian still had no idea why he was helping Trois find his mother. Valerian seemed to be getting dragged into useless tasks since he started studying in the academy. First, there was Ambrose who blackmailed him to help with the case (which he only agreed to do because Ambrose seemed like a great person to get information from)
