Solomon looked towards the now wounded demon, before looking back towards the snake-like man. He realized what he needs to do, and that Zazel entrusted that knowledge to him. Without hesitation, without regret, the boy injected the serum deep into his own body, allowing the Anti-Venom to kick into effect. It was hurting like hell, his body feeling like it was on fire, as the anti-venom did its job, causing the biblical sorcerer to stumble a bit, catching himself before he fell face-first. He would see the water slowly dissipate, and he would also see the wounds left behind. From Solomon's perspective, he just needed to do a little bit more. Just a little more damage would do the trick. Book in tow, he'd open it and prepare to cast a spell, before the snake-like man started to speak. "So you're gonna take his spot eh? You ain't afraid of what's to come?" His question would be met with a stern answer. A Clear answer. One that would reinforce Zazel's decision.
"Why would I be afraid? He did his job. Now I gotta do mines." A smirk was made by Solomon's face, which would intrigue Adel somewhat.
"Good grief....Never expected kids to actually fight back nowadays." The man laughed to himself as he got within a stance. "Alright then. Don't slip up now." With that warning, he'd quickly try to take the first strike, approaching at the Biblical Sorcerer faster than the eye can see. Faster than he could even perceive. Solomon was aware that he was stronger, but he also knows that he was faster than him. After all, his feet were cut off, replaced with nothing but wood to maintain his ground. He simply needs to time his attack right before Adel would connect. Thus...
BANG!!
The impact made dislocated Adel's jaw, somehow snapping it out of place, as he was hit by the book. "Gah....agha..." His mouth was impaired heavily, as Solomon simply released its size lock, showcasing the true size for the Codex Gigas: 36 inches in height and 165 pounds in weight. Enhanced with the likes of magic, it held the force equivalent to that of a mountain, which Solomon used instantly as he'd swat the snake spellcaster out of the room and across the halls into a classroom, the impact destroying the room outright, cracks made across the entrance. Solomon would shrink the book back to its lesser size as he'd approach the destruction made, his shadow flying ahead to see if he was still living. He'd keep a firm eye out for the serpent, as well as seeing through the debris of his next attack. When he was notified by Shady, he'd quickly pause himself.
"Oi!! Oi, Oi, OI!! HE DISAPPEARED! He vanished out of thin air!" The Shadow declared as it scurried back, and when the dust cleared, it was proven to be correct. The man's body vanished without a trace, with only the cracks against the wall and the scattered objects to be left. Solomon was on his guard, looking around the scene, confusing his shadowy familiar. "Ah....Kid? Why are you looking around the halls? You saw him get launched to the classes. Shouldn't you be focusing there-"
"Think about it. Where did you think a Snake would usually slip through?" This confused the Shadow further, so Solomon explained more. "There are two ways a Snake can react: To attack, and to retreat. When you factor those methods, and how limber they are to move around, where would you think they go to retreat??" The Shadow would shift itself into a cog, acting as its sign to think, before it quickly realized what was going on.
"WAIT, HOLD ON! You mean to tell me that freak used a hole or something to slip by?? But he's LARGE!! How could someone like that fit through something that small??"
"And this is why I have to do most of the planning...A Snake can be almost anywhere. In the vents...In burrows...."
BANG!!
Right there, by his side, from the wall, would be the man himself, clawing through the area with his venom drenched nails, planning a surprise attack to strike them down quickly. Solomon, being prepared as he was, would cast a spell once more, this time having his feet enhanced to a degree, that with one stomp was able to destroy the land itself, using the debris to catch his arm and damage it. "Might of Samson...." He'd declare, doing another stomp to create more obstacles to pin down his arm, as well as his upper body, letting the rock stab into Adel without any mercy. He got himself out of the hole he made, as he prepares another attack while Adel was pinned to the walls, with the sound of running water being its declaration, a wave blasted to the serpentine man and forcing him to take the damage even further. In a way, Solomon was attempting to drown the likes of Adel.
Something, however, was off. He'd look back at the hand again that was pinned down, and try to see if it was connected. Sure enough, his feelings were correct, as Adel was able to slip by one more time, though not without a price. His hand, and by extension his arm, was ripped clean off from his body, using the jagged stone to rip it off and let him slink back into the hole made, now slightly larger, since it acted as an entrance to escape. Furthermore, as if the man would ensure a sure-fire hit, The flooring would break itself up somewhat, causing another arm to be made underneath Solomon, grabbing him by the leg and pulling him down in the makeshift hole. The boy would make a quick gesture to try and stop the attack, yet for once upon this fight, he has slipped up. He was caught off-guard, and he is now paying the price, as he never expected he'd dig himself within the floor.
The grab connected flawlessly, and Solomon would be dragged down into the depths below
