Chapter 79: The Incision

Harvard bravely trekked across the ruined terrain, watching the walls move in synch with each other, the rumbling being evident that it is suffering hard against the fire quelling within it. The Earth would be controlled once more, the fibers seeping into the ground and splitting the land apart, cracks being made at the seems. It raised the land up high, allowing Harvard to see the muscles straining, stretching themselves to prevent the child from advancing, whilst being enclosed enough to not be exploited. Harvard, however, simply kept up to pace against the likes of the ground, having the child cast a spell to create arms once more, letting them spread out and scale across the area, gripping the ground and walking across the land like a malevolent spider, hunting for its prey. The child kept a keen eye at where the arms are going so as to evade them quickly, but the more he scaled and climbed across the shaking garden, the Monster grew more and more impatient. More arms were being made, more tendrils attempting to hook one of the fingers of the hand and drag it back into the ground.

The process would be over within an instant. The mere second Harvard messes up, he would be forced to deal with being cooked alive once more. Having a Spell prepared, while also consuming more energy than usual due to it being the same spell, He'd make sure to set up an extra spare arm in the case the appendages get caught within the soil-like worms that act as the Bakunawa's muscles. Each instance the hand gets ensnared, it would be lobbed off and exchanged with a new one. Each instance the hand would be so much as touched, it was as good as dead, severed immediately so as to not be held down by its strength. The Arm set would even have the child leap over, yet the force and impact would be enough to alert the monster and raise them higher, hoping to catch the child in mid-air. Harvard would quickly cast a spell to cut the distance in mid-air as a reaction, allowing him close access to the ground, while not too close as to get himself buried in it, losing the mass of muscles within that time. The land felt like forever, yet the child can see it within his field of view. He was getting close. He was going to make it.

Meanwhile, Solomon would attempt to provide an assistance, casting a spell through the Gigas, aiming it towards the tendrils that dared lowered themselves, leaving the barrier and keeping it sealed so as the other set wouldn't escape. By using the barrier again, he was able to make a second wall in mid-air, a sphere encompassed by the small figures of light, mumbling and dancing to themselves. Solomon ensured his safety by using these small figures as that of stairs, climbing over them, watching from atop. The monster, knowing well that they were trapped both times, attempts to force their escape out. The damage was dealt towards the barrier, yet it failed. They would simply regroup themselves the second it would be damaged. Solomon would laugh to himself, watching it struggle. "Oh, they're NOT gonna like what happens next when attacking in it." the Biblical sorcerer told himself, before seeing it pull what looked to be a last ditch effort, feeling dirt come down from above him. When the child looked up, he could see the very ceiling shake itself, forcing some of the earth to fall down. "OI! Harvard! Mind your head!" Solomon warned, preparing another spell.

Harvard would take heed on the warning and look up as well, seeing the damage coming their way: Large chunks of dirt and stone raining down, the muscles invading within the structures, trying to change its trajectory to try and shoot down the child from above. A strong effort, yet the Card Magician has a solution. A Risky solution, but a solution nonetheless. He'd have himself move far just enough to evade the attack, but not enough to where he wouldn't be affected, waiting for the debris to come crashing down, shield casted in place through the debris, aiming right for the water.

KRA-COOM!!! KA-BOOOM!!

As the debris fell and crashed, the impact and the force would be enough to launch the child away, sending the boy across the land and right into the water, using his body as if it was some sort of projectile. "SOLOMON! YOU MIND?" Harvard would yell back.

"I gotcha!" Solomon would answer, having the Garden of Eden's waters split itself down the middle, letting it reach towards the very earth, the water rising like a wall, spanning just as wide and reaching just as high, perhaps even higher than what the stomach could hold. With the earth amidst his sight, He'd simply cast a spell on one of the Arms and ripped it clean off, letting the other arms do a strong wind-up before throwing the arm right at the bottom, soaring down like a rocket, gaining a jagged edge by making it into pure, solid metal. With the metal being sharp enough, and the force ready to dig deep..

KER-SLASH!!

It hit the bottom. It was as deep as needed. Harvard would be soaring down, trying to catch his breath after the amount of spells he casted, feeling somewhat tired, but pushing on. Casting another, it would send a set of chains to entangle and capture the arm, trying to pull as hard as he could to rip a hole across the bottom of the stomach.

13 meters. As much as he could before his own, small arms gave way, the larger arms focusing on landing well, letting the child get off safe and sound. "I! DID! IT!! THE INCISION IS MADE!! I REPEAT!! THE INCISION IS MADE!!!" The child yelled.

"PERFECT! Now, get the heck outta there!!" Solomon would answer back, his voice just as loud, as he'd began to disable the Garden of Eden spell on the water, turning it back into the gastric acids, letting it finally sink down and kill the legendary monster. What he wasn't able to see, and what Harvard wasn't able to notice, was that the Monster had one last move before being finished off. The tendrils finally caught up to Harvard, right at his weak point, dragging him down to the soil, now being its fleshy muscles once more, as he would be face to face with the downpour of a Stomach Acid Tidal wave.

if this would connect, Harvard would be melted. If this would connect, it would serve as the Bakunawa's last Hurrah. Solomon would only take a mere second to recognize the situation as he saw the acids part and give way to the child's predicament. "HARVARD!?!? HARVAAAAAAAAAAARD!!!!" He'd scream, yet it was too late.

KER-SPLASH!!

The waves crashed down in full force. No mercy was left for them.
