Chapter 81: Preparations

Meanwhile, as Solomon and Harvard were busy handling the likes of the Bakunawa, Stolas and Zazel were making preparations in regards to the certain invaders that dared stepped within Salvandi. Ennio would be leading the two of them towards a remote structure, retaining its cubism like the rest of the buildings, but with a set of patterns that are embroidered in the walls. A pattern of triangles in black and yellow, connecting each other as they were plastered across the walls, letting its colors attract those that are prepared for such a mission. Zazel couldn't help but admire some of those colors, before entering inside, where the group would be met with a cool air relaxing them amidst their bodies. The area was just as furnished, but with lots of chairs and few tables, most of the chairs angled at the side of windows, letting them look out and prepare. Of such few tables, one was held by what looked to be a shopkeeper, with rags tightly tied across his body, retrieving some supplies for the people visiting. The shopkeeper paid notice to Ennio and waved at him. "Howdy 'ere Sheriff! And howdy to you youngin's as well." He'd announce proudly, tipping one of his rags that were holding his hair up as if it were a hat. "What can I do for you folks?"

"Bandits. Supposedly they're here to cause some problems. We just need the usual to prepare against them, Vial." Ennio would ask, to which the Shopkeeper reciprocated and got to work. Zazel would pay notice to the man's name, tugging at Ennio's pants to grab his attention.

"Vial?" The Demon would ask.

"Mhm. Le'Vial Marow. Most Reliable 'keeper 'round here. Anything you need, he provides." Ennio would state, as Vial would demonstrate by having his body conduct energy across his arms, allowing him to grab ahold of nearby objects. Without warning, the objects slowly changed its texture, its strength, its durability, its materials even. What was once ordinary silk quickly changed itself to a different material, being more solid and shiny. Silk into Steel. He'd then compress parts of the material within his hands, slowly molding them with his palm to create bullets, weaving them with mere soft movements to give it a proper shape. Bullets that he would pass towards Ennio, with the Cowboy offering some gold to act as payment. Zazel was left amazed at the process, knowing that it was a style of magic he didn't expect to be a thing. Stolas simply laughed to himself a bit.

"First time with Textile Magic, huh?" Stolas would ask

"Tex-what?" Zazel would question back.

"Textile! Y'now? The thing people do with Fabric?"

"THAT'S HIS MAGIC!?"

Vial simply chuckled. "Yes sir! It's a handy, dandy one for a Weaver like myself. As for you, lil' youngin', your outfit is on the second room to your right." Stolas would cheer in joy as he hears these words, grabbing Zazel by the arm and dragging him to that room, having him wait outside. It would only take a few moments before the demon would see what the hype was about, seeing Stolas wearing an entirely different outfit. A new outfit that seemingly is similar with the likes of his Father's, with the same hat and vest, as well as bandages that covered his feathered arms, and long pants to block away the sandy debris. Small changes, however, are made, such as the color of his clothes being a matte blue rather than the rusty brown, his hat being a Pinched Front instead of the standard Cattleman, with white studs to signify its brilliance, and even possessing a red scarf that wraps around his neck, big enough to conceal his lower face. Zazel couldn't help but laugh a bit at the design, before hearing the man's words again. "Oi! Yous one of the newcomers, yeah? I think I happen to have an outfit that fits yah as well."

Zazel grew immediately quiet, looking towards Stolas. Despite his beak being covered, his smug eyes tells everything. "Nooooooooooooooooooo.....Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad-" Zazel's words were cut as Stolas immediately smuggled him and threw him within the changing room, having his stars be created into hands to have him retrieve and make the demon wear the clothes. Multiple sounds can be heard, wanting to escape from its prying grasp, yet it was impossible. Zazel has once again forced to switch clothes, his appearance being similar to Stolas, but now with a matte black and a yellow scarf, just like the markings on the walls. The Demon's red eyes glared in anger at Stolas, watching the Stellar Sorcerer laugh as they are now matching in clothes. Ennio couldn't help but smile as well. "I hate this.....This is the third time this has happened...Third Time...." His rage was evident, but it was quickly ignored as Ennio had the two children follow suit.

"Alright, Alright, Settle down now. They're gonna be here within a couple of minutes. We don't have a lot of time to spare, so lets save the anger for the Bandits, yeah? I already have someone keeping watch to ensure we won't get ambushed." Ennio would decree, having the two children follow suit upon his words. Stolas would already have his star constructs prepared, scattering them across the sands so as to attain his own element of surprise, whilst Zazel prepared a sigil, one that Stolas recognized.

"Oh hey! That's mines, isn't it?" Stolas asked, referring to his name's origins.

Zazel simply gave a smug look. "Indeed, my manly friend, Indeed. Can't wait to see it deal with more bad guys than you can." The boy joked, yet Stolas would have a determined look on his face.

"Oh yeah? That a challenge, I'm hearing?" The Stellar Sorcerer cracked his knuckles as he pushes his luck. Zazel couldn't help but be reminded of how competitive he was, and so he would oblige.

"Depends, you up for it?"

"You already know..." The boys gave a damning smirk upon one another, with Ennio catching notice. He'd sigh and allows it, since he knows a fight when he sees one. He just hopes they don't try to kill each other by accident.
