The Pastor kept his stance, approaching the child slowly to note any reactionary movements the demon plans to do. The Group watches in anticipation, with Stolas looking towards Harvard in great concern. "Hey so....You don't think he's gonna die there, right? What exactly does that guy have anyway?" He would ask. Harvard took a deep breath before explaining his answer.
"This might get a bit into Spoiler territory, so I'm kinda sorry if you wanna read it yourself. Basically, when GWOG was fighting with this guy, He always feels as if he was being attacked on the inside. Think like a punch that goes through you, but not enough to where it rips a hole in your body. Kinda like that. Right now, Zazel was hit twice in the face, one by the palm, and a solid fist, knuckles first. You can.....kinda imagine how he's probably feeling internally from those hits." Harvard's words gave a tinge of fear to Stolas as he'd look back at the demon, recognizing what is going on. As Zazel would try to feel his face, mainly to check for any damages and to wipe away the blood coming out of his nose and mouth, he could feel something. A Fracture. One across his upper jaw through his nose, almost in a curve-like motion, the same motion made from the punch. He could feel a small part of his very skull bending in that fracture, and theoretically, some even hitting his brain a bit. A Strong headache was made at the realization, grasping at his forehead and kneeling down to calm himself. Stolas looked towards the Card Magician in fear, not even needing to speak a word, as Harvard would nod as an affirmation to his non-existent question.
"If I recall correctly, It's gotta deal with that glow on his body. Every time he does something, he generates a golden aura around him. His energy. What kind of magic would do such a thing.." Solomon would question, which would baffle Stolas somewhat.
"You mean to tell me you didn't KNEW about this?!? Aren't you the guy that studies this stuff!?" He demanded, his voice somewhat raised given the situation.
"Hey, Cut me some slack! I'm not a full-blown genius here! I only read the books, I didn't see it for myself."
The Children's words were deaf upon Zazel's ears, as he would initiate combat once more, sigils made at the ready, knuckledusters prepared to strike. The Pastor would close in just the same, a golden aura still blooming around him. He'd use Sabnock to repeat his previous attack, shooting an entire armada towards the Churchman, forcing him to deflect once more. As he does so, Zazel would use his second sigil, Eligos, to ensnare the man once more, catching his legs instead of his arm, preventing him from further movement, forcing the Pastor to exert more energy into destroying the lines. Lastly came Asmodeus, where after exertion, would aim this attack in front and to his sides, hoping one of the flames would be enough to burn him down. The Pastor quickly realized that this wasn't a mere attack, but a containment to prevent further actions from being dealt. His movement was limited. His abilities were linear. He was put in a position where he must act a specific way in order to fight back. Recognizing this, he'd have his magic come in full force, letting it expand out and spread itself across the area, a barrier to block the fire from touching his very robe. Zazel, and by extension the rest of the group, would be forced to pull back, seeing the aura spread farther and farther, almost enough to reach the chapel's entrance, lighting the doorway on fire.
"Manipura!"
The Pastor's declaration would scatter the flames, creating an almost beautiful display of fire and light, like a flower blossoming around him, before the flickers of such ash diminished themselves, the dust and debris separating as the man remained unharmed. Zazel would be taken aback by this style of magic, unable to understand what it even was, whilst the group stared in awe at the sight. Before anyone was able to utter a word, the Pastor spoke once more. "Manipura. The Chakra that binds my stomach. The Chakra that binds my body's energy. An Enlightenment away from Fear, Disgust, and Envy. The very energy that circled my very center, now visible as my very shield. That is what Manipura is. That...is also my name. That....is also my Magic." The man would state, stunning the demon somewhat.
"Manipura....? That's your name....?? But I thought you were with the big man himself! Why stick with a different practice entirely?" Zazel would ask, to which Manipura would chuckle and answer such a question with his stoic expression, except now it was a bit warmer. A Small smile on his face.
"Just because I follow my Lord's teachings, doesn't mean I should forever bound myself to them alone? My Lord wouldn't want me to limit myself when so many others follow a similar path. A Path that we made on our own hands. They all are the same. They want us to be enlightened, to be at peace, to be at ease. That is what The Lord would want me to have, Devil. Understand that, and you too would feel just at peace." His message would be complete, as once the warm aura was gone, so too was his smile, returning to his more calm and focused self, activating his magic once more, this time glowing a soft, light blue. The Demon would take upon a stance once more, before seeing the man being faster, reaching from the far end to Zazel's end within the span of a single second, his palm being open and ready to deliver a chop directly towards the child's throat.
"VISHUDDHA!"
KRACC!!
The attack was successful, as a bone snapped almost instantly at the boy's neck, his throat bent aback and forcing the child to lay down, coughing and struggling to breathe.
Zazel was downed almost instantly.
