Chapter 115: Salvation

The flames departed with both parties lying down on the very ground. Everyone would be able to see the outcome, with the Pastor lying limp on the ground, and Zazel still breathing. Sabnock was standing proud at the situation, hearing a cacophony of cheers made from the children, and illiterate rage made by the Knight. The Demon would take notice of such sounds, giving a warm smile and a thumbs up to his friends, being somewhat proud he was capable of achieving just as much victory as the others, despite the fact such odds were stacked against the creature. What he didn't expect, however, was that such victory left a sour taste upon the Knight's mouth, brandishing his sword and lunging forward, a newfound determination as he would attempt to cleave off the head of the demon. "NO!! NOT AGAIN!!! NOT AGAIN!!! I WILL NOT BE HUMILIATED BY A MERE BRAT THAT GOT LUCKY!!!! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE THAT, AND I SHALL PROVE IT TO YOU WITH MY OWN BARE, BLOODY HANDS!!!! I WILL MAKE YOU BEG FOR GOD, YOU WRETCH!!!!" His words were just as visceral as before, holding upon the blade on his hilt so tight, he'd injure himself from the markings. His rage simply subsided such pain, as he'd lower the sword to try and slice the child apart. One difference was made, however. He was no longer afraid.

KER-CLANG!!

In that instant, Malak had forgotten entirely about the Goetia of Weaponry, Sabnock, using its forearm to block the attack, having the force necessary to snap the blade in two, before grabbing the knight and lifting him up high. The Knight would flail relentlessly, trying to use his own body as a weapon to strike at the robotic monster, yet to no avail. Zazel merely sighed as he'd look to the supposed leader, before shifting his focus to the other two that were with such a man. "Be honest.....You'd want some new friends, huh?" The demon would ask. Pria and Fiona, almost in shock at how effortlessly the Knight was bested, looked upon one another. No words were mentioned to each other, as they'd look to the demon and nod in affirmation.

"And ah....sorry for insultin' you, lil' fella. No hard feelin's, right?" The Archer would ask, to which the Demon would give a hearty laugh.

"Yeah, No hard feelings. Least you guys are more sensible..." Zazel's response was more casual, as he'd try to walk up towards Manipura, trying to carry his body. Harvard and the others would approach Zazel, offering him a hug to act as a reward, before the Demon would ask of something. "Hey, Harvard. You mind healing this guy? I don't think I want this man to die on me. If anything, he might even help us out knowing the place some more!" He would ask.

Harvard, with a strong smile, would abide by his order, quickly casting a spell to create a potion, passing it towards the Pastor, letting it seep into his wounds to quickly heal his severed veins, as well as expelling the glass used to cut him apart. He'd then let the rest of the Vial be drunk by the Churchman himself, letting him regain his energy and having his bodily functions work as normal. As the group would look on and watch him heal, The Knight would make a desperate attempt to try and get out of the Demon's grasp, letting him remove his armor and have it serve as a wedge to move such fingers. Sabnock would instantly learn what he was doing, but rather than punish the foolish man, it instead would play along, having him be pried open and letting the Knight free, as he would reach for the broken pieces of the blade and make a quick sprint towards the Demon, aiming to stab him in the back. "THIS IS THE END FOR YOU, YOU ABSOLUTE INGRATE!!! DISAPPEAR FROM MY SIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!" The Man would yell. As soon as the Pastor was healed, he simply raised his arm and aimed towards Malak, emitting a solid green aura around his very palm.

"Anahata..."

A Blast was shot from his hand, aimed right towards the Knight's heart, piercing through it. While no damage was present, the Knight ceased any further movement, standing upright without even moving an inch, staring off into space as if he is seeing something else entirely. The children would instantly turn around and notice the Knight, motionless and unable to react. The Pastor explained himself as he'd push himself up, getting a better view of the situation. "Anahata.....the Heart Chakra. Unstruck. Unhurt. Unbeaten. It can be used to heal, like with the woman, or it could be used to stun, through the act of healing. The very body's nerves go into shock when being applied such positive energy, leaving a target motionless. It is like overflowing someone with energy in such a degree, they wouldn't be given a chance to use it." As the Pastor moved upwards, he'd simply approach the likes of the Knight, recognizing his wrathful intent, and pacified him with another attack, his colors changing from a strong green to a calming blue, his palm now closing to make a fist.

"VISHUDDAH!!"

A Punch straight through the Knight's chest, penetrating and destroying the heart itself, leaving the Knight forced to die standing. As he did, something would be bequeathed upon the group, the hole holding something: A piece of paper, which held the map of the very kingdom, as well as a small key: Golden all around, with a blade to act as the base. Harvard would be quick in taking both items after the Pastor pulled his fist back, letting his aura cleanse the blood, before looking down towards the demon. "Strange....I never expect the Devil to act like an Angel, saving me from death. You are truly a peculiar creature.." He would quizzically state, though still showed his thanks by allowing the children to follow him. "Nevertheless, I shall accompany as your guide. It is the least I should do, for being granted such a day to remember." He had a smile on him as he finished his words, with the children following the Priest, talking amongst themselves regarding the events that unfolded. The Mage and the Archer, realized they would be needing a new group, would follow suit.

The children looked behind and noticed them trailing, with Zazel simply shrugging and providing an answer. "Hey! If they wanna come with, I don't mind it. More witnesses."

"Sheesh, no hesitation either. You sure you're the same, Zaze?" Stolas would ask, with Harvard and Solomon nodding at this new change.

"Mhm! I just needed to relax a bit. Being angry takes a lot out of you." Zazel would answer, chuckling as he would take it as a joke, yet in reality, he himself noticed such a change as well.
