Chapter 184: The Escape, Part 6

The battle rages forward. Malak would grab himself pieces of the nearby rocks, tossing them directly towards the Pastor in a curveball-like manner, aiming for his left pelvis to try and break his leg. Manipura merely used the rubble as cover, having it drop and deliver a punch to launch it towards the King, pushing himself forward in order to get close and strike on all sides once more. The King was quick in his reaction, having his hands grab the framework that was once such a building and curved it slightly, noticing the Pastor's shift in movements, utilizing his shoulder as a counter to bash it straight into him, forcing him to be pushed back and damaged in the strike. Malak would take further advantage and close in towards his right, a wide open view for the arms he needed to remove: Anahata itself. Off the corner of his eye, the Pastor recognized the King's goal, and would be driven to a desperate move. He'd prematurely pull Anahata's arm back, trying to strike at his face with Svadhishthana, forcing the King to pull himself back if it meant evading its ability. He would also utilize Muladhara to plant himself into the ground so as to ensure his strike would act as its very wall to protect the other appendage.

Because of this, Malak would go for that arm instead, charging his body with such energy in order to utilize the spell. He gave a wide grin before initiating the attack.

SHIKK!!

The Svadhishthana arm was lobbed off almost instantly. A groan of pain escaped his mouth as the Pastor recoiled his arm's stump, clutching the wound fiercely. No blood was spilt, yet the pain was still present. The King, however, braced himself, as he knew on contact meant he would be affected by the spell as a result, his vision beginning to blur and showcasing something peculiar: His previous life. The contest between him, his allies, and the children. The Humiliation in suffering loss after loss. He recognized that the arm utilizes one's memories to take advantage of them, forcing them to have their life flashed before their eyes. As it did, Manipura would take advantage, utilizing Anahata to strike at his chest and stun him, before Vishuddha would deal its lethal chop, aiming towards his throat, breaking the spine connected onto his neck, and forcing him to fall down. Just as he did, however, Malak would break free from the illusion itself, using his body's momentum through the Pastor's attack to make his own, rotating his waist and utilizing his magic through his legs to deal a corkscrew kick towards his eye. Both participants would be hurled on opposite directions, though Malak would be the one to quickly recover, even with such a near-death injury, due to his ties with the very Devil of the Sea. He'd simply snack his neck back and get himself up, staring down at his opponent. While yes, he suffered enough damage, one specific spot was made apparent, making the King smile and cackle in joy.

Manipura's remaining Eye was damaged beyond repair. Blindness has now became his critical weakness.

"GYAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! AND THERE IT IS!! THE PUNISHMENT YOUR KING HAS ISSUED!!! I TOLD YOU THAT TO GO AGAINST ME IS TREASON, DID I NOT!? I TOLD YOU THAT YOUR PUNISHMENT IS YOUR VERY LIFE ENDING, DID I NOT!? THIS IS MY LAND, MY RULES, MY DOMAIN!! BEGONE FROM MY ROYAL SOIL, PRIEST!!" The King screamed, rushing towards him as he prepares to push him into utilizing his last remaining chance, if he even possessed such a possibility. He'd charge his energy once more, initiating his Final Gambit, sidestepping to the right and spiraling around the Pastor, reaching such speeds to create afterimages. Even if he wasn't able to see, the momentum itself was mattering above all else, finding the golden spiral and taking a precise aim in order to try and end him within one strike. He'd prepare his arm to deliver that corkscrew punch, watching the Pastor to see what he plans to do. To his surprise, Manipura would be simply standing in place, taking deep breaths, occasionally utilizing Anahata to heal his chest and push back the roots. He was staring into nothingness, patiently waiting for the attack to arrive. The King was aware that something was wrong, but he also knew if he doesn't land this blow, he won't have a chance to secure the victory again. He'd grit his teeth and spun himself close to his chin, attempting to knock off his entire jaw with his attack. Aiming for the chest and arms would be a risk, if he had a chance to react on instinct, especially considering they were his main targets to strike during the time he had his vision.

"Spiral Magic - Fibonacci..."

KRACC!!

The attack connected. The King was grinning in glee at seeing his strike hitting the Pastor, but such a smile faded the moment he recognized something was amiss. Behind the dust and debris kicked up from his spiral-esque movements, he would notice his attack struck an arm. More specifically, at the Manipura Chakra arm. The barrier became at play almost immediately, using it to stave off any damage, but ended up blocking the strike directly. He'd grit his teeth and try to strike again, this time hoping to pierce through the barrier by utilizing his fingernails as the point to stab him, yet the Pastor merely held up his actual right arm, letting it be stabbed through so he can grab his fingers and did a sharp turn on them.

KRACC!!

The King let out a harsh howl as he'd attempt to kick the Pastor back, grabbing at his hand with his now broken fingers. "Damn.....you...!!" His eyes were like daggers to the Churchman, yet Manipura couldn't care. He still remained composed. He'd get himself up and get within a stance, his good eye slowly coming back, albeit still bloody from his strike. He was starting to see again.

He was enjoying the sight of the king being frustrated that he had the upper hand.
