The sun peeked its head over the horizon, bringing forth the crack of dawn across the grassy land. Both armies were visible between one another, with Malak's brandishing their weapons, and Harvard's in their magic. As the two approached one another, they'd meet within the meadow, soon to be stained in blood. The adults would take notice of the millions of men and women by his side, steel armor branded on their skin, swords, spears, and hammers all prepared to smash and cut. The King looked on with a smirk, his cocky attitude still present, staring down at the limited number the Card Magician has on his side. "Shortage, I presume...?" He would ask, keeping his smug look, snapping his fingers so that he can separate the army, letting them take the left and right sides. He wasn't a fool, he knew fully well what's going to occur, and the sight of the Barbarian before him almost leaving a scowl upon his face.
Harvard simply smiled and got himself prepared, putting himself in a starting position, as if he was a sprinter ready to race towards the finish line. "Eh, it happens. Moreover...You know you brought this on yourself, right?" He would ask.
The King laughed before continuing. "Of course I did! I haven't been given a second chance by the Divine for no reason! It was my chance to pummel you down into the ground once and for all, for EVERYONE to see! Whether or not I lose my life matters not. What matters is that your journey, as well as everyone else's, ends here. For all the mockery and deception, You will pay your penance of such heresy in blood." When he gave such words, the Card Magician couldn't help but laugh to himself a bit, confusing even his very friends, before recognizing what he was laughing about, and joined with him. The King grew confused by it all, and when looking towards the others, even they didn't know what was going on. What were they thinking, he pondered. "Oi! What's with the snickering? Have you gone mad?" He'd yell, adamant about getting an answer.
Harvard and his friends calmed down before he would speak up once more. "Sorry, Sorry.....It's just....I've NEVER seen anyone with THAT much hatred on me. I kinda respect it, in all honesty! However, The fact you believe with such hate, you're gonna survive, is waaaaay too funny to pass up. Just do me a favor and start this already. I'm not having people waste their time standing here." He'd answer, a smile on his face. A Smile that made Malak drop his smug expression and began to focus, his face being unreadable, his eyes staring daggers at the man.
He wasn't going to waste this chance again.
"One of us is going to disappear. One of us is going to remain forgotten in the sea that acts as Hell. It's not going to be me. Not again."
"Mmmm....I disagree. You're already forgotten just by existing."
With such exchange of words, the armies rushed in, with Harvard bolting straight forward to Malak, running across his soldier's heads so he can reach him closer. As he did, Zazel would try and use Asmodeus to burn down the crowd and make space, jumping into his own flames so that he can investigate and find someone. The Hat Man. His strategy was simple: Defeat him, and prevent anyone else from having their magic copied from his memory to use against them. This plan was more than useful, since he can assume Harvard is going to use a monster throughout his battle. The less time he worries about Publiq, the better. Stolas and Solomon would try to trail the Demon, but they would be met with branches upon branches, stabbing into their own ranks, making their bodies be a wall to corner the two, letting them see Juboku for the first time. The Yokai Tree would split itself down the middle and used any extra wood to grow more trees, closing off between the both of them, preventing them from working together, while at the same time facing their own version of the new Spriggan.
Fiona, Pria, and GWOG focused on the troops, with Fiona trying her best to lead the group and utilize her new magic. While firing with her bow, she would also grapple her arrows and have her fingers hold at its tip, allowing her to cast her magic on both sides, one for snatching and pinning down farther opponents, and the other to ensnare and hold them down for either protection in using them as a meat shield, or allowing Pria and GWOG to strike them down while she has them tied up. Pria and GWOG would focus on utilizing their new magic, with GWOG doing Lariats, hooks, Piledrivers, and even tackles to break across the earth through his newfound strength, utilizing Manipura to protect himself from direct attacks, and Muladhara to keep him firmly in the ground so he could tank through any piercing weaponry from his sides. Pria would utilize the roots and trees grown by the Spriggan to grow her own forest, having it spread and slice the army by its ankles, so that she can get the upper hand and slash them across either the back, the chest, or the face, rendering them unable to fight back. Despite the smaller numbers, the Trio were doing relatively well in maintaining the pressure, however such pressure became absolved when the roots grown by Juboku began to invade the bodies, implanting its roots on the wounds and growing out such shrubbery, allowing them to rise up and prepare to fight back.
"You're joking..." Fiona would prepare her arrows once more, trying to pin down her opposition once more, whilst Pria and GWOG served as cover, striking back and preventing them from flanking on her sides. Just as she did, however, she noticed the roots were acting up once again. It was going to be unfair for them, no matter how much it would take.
RIIIIIIIP!!
The joints that connects the feet from the lower leg were ripped clean off. In its place would be the branches growing and spreading to act as a replacement, giving the newly made feet its joints so that they can operate easier. The Archer grew horrified at this. "IT CAN DO THAT!? HOW THE HELL CAN WE BEAT SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?" She'd scream, before GWOG would attempt to answer, having to clothesline a few more soldiers and using one of them as a weapon to swat back the human-plant hybrids charging forward.
"Simple! The boys are dealing with that caster as we speak! We keep holding the line and wait. Once they're done with the monster, we go for an all out offense!" He'd reply with such gusto.
"Can they even do that!?" She'd look onwards to the boys that remained trapped within its foliage-like prison. She prays in silence that they can achieve such a result.
