Chapter 213: Immortal Soul

Malak couldn't believe it. As he struck at the Man, pulling his fist out from the gaping hole that served as his wound, he could feel his breath coming down. He could see the color of his eyes remaining unfazed, the passion still burning. Within that very moment, The Man struck in full force.

BAM!!!!

A Direct uppercut with his electric hand, sending volts across his skull and upwards, frying Malak's brain and knocking him back, holding just as much force as Harvard had before even taking the wound in the first place. "Pretty neat, huh? Now we're on equal footing!" He'd declare, watching as the Red King struggled to get up, re-adjusting his jaw as he'd have his body regenerate from the electrocution. He'd spit blood onto his side before getting into a stance, his fists balled as his magic began to spin once more, gyrating around his wrists. He was immortal. He somehow copied his own style of sustaining himself against Death. He'd have his wrists ripped apart as his hands spun, a grimace upon the King's face, looking upon the Magician in disgust.

He stole his method of living forever. He was a thief.

The two lunged at one another once more, with Harvard stealing a warrior's blade and shoulder blade armor to act as a miniature shield. Malak would pay attention that Harvard has the weapon on his electric arm, meaning he would need to dodge whatever attacks came from the sword. The Magician would try to lunge forward, utilizing the Shield to bash into his head so he can have a clear opening, yet the Red King was quick to evade, utilizing Spiral Magic on his legs to curve himself almost instantly, taking aim for his stomach to land a direct hit. As Harvard would see the attack coming, he would have his stomach open up, making a giant mouth-like hole in order to try and catch the fist, biting into his arm and spinning his sword around so he can do a direct downward stab on his head. Malak would recognize the mouth being opened and would transfer his Spiral Magic across his arms down to his legs, making him switch tactics almost instantly, doing a low sweep and tripping over the Card Magician as a result.

Attempting to adapt to such a sudden shift, the Magician tossed his shield directly into Malak's face and had him cast a spell once he was on the ground. Implanting the earth with Rosetta Stone, Hieroglyphs would be alive once more, swarming across the area in order to attack the Red King's leg, taking advantage of being so close to the ground in order to scale up and cause further damage. The Magician would land on the grass, but rolled himself away in order to cast a spell of white light, attempting to stun Malak while he was down so that he can keep going with his offense. the King would be forced to shield his eyes, as well as using Spiral Magic to deter away the glyphs invading on his ankles, leaving his body wide open, granting Harvard the opportunity to stab into the King and electrocute him through the sword itself. Sparks flew wildly as he'd take the assault head on, yet the King would be quick in lunging forward in order to grab at Harvard's neck, causing him to take the same damage. The two grit their teeth as the electricity coursed across their body, even pulling back their free arms in order to launch an array of blows back at one another to ensure one of them plummets to the ground, unable to handle the damages anymore. Despite this, after such blows and the currents going wild, they both landed one more punch to push them both away, the sword escaping out of Malak's body, the blade half melted away, making Harvard toss it aside as the two regained their breath.

They didn't bother to exchange words. The two stared towards one another, preparing a spell in their path. Soldiers took notice of the Card Magician and tried to catch him by surprise. The man didn't need to react, closing his eyes and allowing fate to take its course.

SHIKK!!!

Skewered.

The Soldiers that belonged to Malak, murdered by the King's very hand. His dominion over his people is being brushed aside. A fire burning in his eyes as the Red King gets up, cracking his bones and preparing himself once more. Harvard opened his eyes, looking around and giving a surprised expression, before changing to a warm smile, standing on his two feet as well. "This is a battle between me and you, Brat. Don't think of this as Mercy. I want my rule to be perfect. To give you the ultimate defeat. To pummel you by my own hand is what you deserve. No alternatives." Malak stated, getting into a stance.

The Magician merely sighed as he'd get into one as well. "Let's hope you can achieve that." Was the only thing he said, before lunging forward, casting a spell on his arm to create more electricity, leading with a hook to try and paralyze him. The Red King, with no hesitation, blocked it with his other arm, getting electrocuted once more, pushing himself forward so he can lunge a stomach punch to Harvard. The newly grown Magician would catch his fist and other arm, throwing a knee into his abdomen so he can throw him over his shoulder, his grasp coupling with the electricity frying the both of them. As he was thrown overhead, Harvard then casted another spell, creating a set of chains to wrap around the King's neck, sending its current further whilst pulling on it so he can throw a high kick against his chin. Malak countered partially by having his arm be caught instead, yet it simply diverted the attack to a kick in his chest, making his mouth agape, the lightning going across his mouth and frying his tongue in the process. He'd grab ahold of the chain and headbutt Helsing back, before wrapping his hand around said chain and pulled on it in order to deal a left hook, making the Magician stumble back.

The force between the tug was enough to shatter it, freeing the Red King. He prepares his Spiral Magic once more, attempting to finish Helsing off.

Once and for all..
