Chapter 217: Swan Song, Part 1

Without hesitation, the Red King rushed towards the newly made Army of Monsters. Beasts that would easily kill him in one hit, yet he still runs in with little care about his own life. His energy coursing through his body once more, his enthusiasm rising once again. As soon as one of the monsters, the Swordsman Miyashi, tried to deliver a slice, Malak would push himself back to dodge the cut, using his long arm to reach over and grab the blade with his bare hands. Despite the injury that the Samurai can exploit, the Red King pumped his magic straight onto the steel, overloading it and causing it to shatter, allowing him to deliver a chop across its neck, decapitating it. Harvard would be shock at the result from his view, having him send out two more monsters towards him: Inti and Quilla, attempting to use the Combo on him. Malak was keen, however, and used the body of the Samurai as leverage to fling himself upward, watching the Dragon's prepare a breath attack to blast him out of the sky.

SHIKK!!!

Right as the Dragons prepared their assault, Malak would have his body twitch and spasm. Something unfurled from his back, created out of solid bone and given layers by such regeneration. Wings. Self-Made, and having enough strength to carry his weight. Without a second to spare, he swooped around the area, dodging each and every sun's rays that try to take him down, and every meteor-like projectile that nearly clubbed his head in half. He made his way to the center of such an army, causing Harvard to lunge forward and try to intercept him, whilst Construct would send her strings to serve as a blockade on both sides. The Magician was quick on utilizing the excess energy, summoning another Miyashi and using Fusion as he casted Lemegeton, upgrading his gun with a bladed edge, the bullets being sharper than before. Malak would attempt to do the chop again, yet Harvard merely took aim and shot point blank at his chest, delivering stab after stab from such bullets, as well as aiming to cut his throat once he got close. The Magician then did a roundhouse kick to send him straight into the strings, allowing Construct to tangle the Red King and throw him at an impressive distance of fifty miles. With a snap of his fingers, he'd have Inti track the newly made Monster, with Puzzlemina now following in pursuit.

KRASH!!!

The Red King was dragged across the dirt, rolling over and nearly breaking most of his bones, yet his newly born anatomy reattached it like nothing, stretching himself a bit before charging in once more, taking aim at Puzzlemina first. The Retro Woman would be quick in utilizing her magic, allowing Malak to see his own health in a bar above his head. "The hell..." He'd mumble, before regaining his attention, attempting to slash at the woman. Puzzlemina, however, gave a smirk, as another prompt was made: A Pair of dice, swiftly rolling.

Six.

The attack was an absolute miss, leaving him wide open as the Retro Woman took aim with her staff, a pair of dice being visible once more.

Nineteen.

A Direct hit, striking at his hips, forcing him to be knocked back, his health bar going down, his body actively reacting to such damage, despite his body being capable of handling such strikes before. "So that's what you do...You modulated this entire scenario to be one, big game. I have to roll the dice to see if my attack lands, and depending on the damage, it is physically impacting my life as a whole..." He'd mumble to himself. He'd push himself back to try and bait the Monster, keeping an eye on Inti, being able to notice that it also possesses a health bar. He would thrust himself forward, winding up his arm, getting ready for a punch, watching as the Retro Woman prepared her magic again, utilizing her staff in case it was a good roll so she can try to slightly avert the strike.

Four.

Another miss. A smug grew on her face, before dropping it as Malak still attempted to throw his punch, only for him to pull it back and use the momentum to move to the side, where she would see Inti charging up its own attack. A Feint. A Trick, in order to make him take the negative roll, so that if by any chance Inti would land a hit, it would cause massive damage towards Puzzlemina.

Nineteen.

A Near direct hit. The Retro Woman would use her staff as a last ditch effort to survive, vaulting herself over the attack in order to barely dodge the strike. The light came down on her with no care, attacking her all the same. Inti recognized he was being duped, so it tried to get lower and blast down smaller beams in case he would do the feint again. Malak was anticipating this, striking at the earth and utilizing his Spiral Magic to make it spin, letting them become makeshift drills, before kicking them directly towards the sun-like beast. His roll was still casted, making the Red King turn his head and noticed that the Woman was still alive, albeit barely. Her health bar was already in the red, weakened enough to be taken down by any standard attack.

Eleven, Two, Fourteen, Fourteen, Seven, Nineteen, Fourteen.

Five out of Seven. The rubble made short work in striking at the Dragon, ripping apart rock after rock from its center, bleeding out a lava-like substance as a result. Yet, the Dragon still persevered, rushing towards the King and readying another blast. Malak merely grabbed ahold of Puzzlemina and prepared to use her as a body shield, utilizing his Spiral Magic to invade her body and force her to use her magic against the Sun Dragon. He'd then have himself get positioned slightly back, readying himself to be lunged directly at Harvard through the explosion. Both participants closed their eyes as they issued their strike, the dice rolling once more.

Natural twenties.

KA-BOOOOOOOM!!!
