Edwards approached the table with a confident stride, holding two bottles,one of Glenfiddich 21 years and the other of Hennessy xo in his hands. He set them down with a slight thud, the glass clinking softly against the table's surface, before taking a seat beside Sherly. The tension in the air was palpable, a lingering heaviness from the earlier conversation that hadn't quite dissipated.

Annabelle sensed it too and decided to break the silence with a cheerful tone, hoping to lighten the mood. "Let me introduce my girlfriend, the reason for the celebration. Meet Clary, my best friend. We're celebrating her engagement!" She announced with a bright smile, her voice infused with warmth and excitement.
