"Why should I try to control him between a husband and wife, who are individuals of equal freedom?" Bella Scott asked in response.
She felt that Brynn Williams' logic was flawed in this statement. Besides, it was already more than enough that Edward Anderson didn't try to control her. Controlling Edward Anderson was something she had never even considered.
"What I mean is, you two aren't suitable for each other. Since you aren't suitable, why force yourselves to be together?"
Bella frowned slightly when she heard this, "Brynn, do you think I'm not good enough for Edward Anderson?"
She could understand why Mr. Anderson wanted her to leave Edward Anderson, but she couldn't understand why her good friend, Brynn Williams, was asking her to divorce Edward immediately upon starting the conversation.
It was unheard of in this world for someone to advocate for a breakup rather than trying to repair a relationship, let alone from her best friend.
