Once Edward Anderson said this, Bella Scott was speechless.
Hadn't she returned his money? Why did he bring it up?
Elyssa Scott didn't believe Edward Anderson's words at all: "Edward, don't make up stories. I know you are rich, but there's no way you'd hand over all your assets to my sister, right?"
It wasn't like he was an idiot. How could Edward possibly give all his property to Bella Scott?
She even doubted the authenticity of their marriage, suspecting it was all an act, and that they weren't a real couple.
"Elyssa, you underestimate Edward. His net worth is way more than just a few billion. Sure, like you've noticed, Edward and I have indeed separated. You've seen what you wanted to see, can you please leave now?" Bella stood up and walked towards Elyssa: "Get out!"
She didn't want to rely on Edward's help anymore, nor did she want to keep lying.
Every time she was mocked, it was Edward who defended her. The feeling was great, but in the end, she still relied on his help.
