Chapter 257: There Are No Important People or Things Worth Remembering_1

At eleven-thirty in the morning, Edward Anderson appeared at the detective agency as expected. As soon as he walked in, he saw Bella Scott sitting at her desk, looking as if she had been petrified.

He looked at Sienna Perez, who helpfully explained, "Bella has been like this all morning, as if she's been hit by something. She doesn't even hear me when I talk to her. I suspect she's lovesick, and has been thinking about Mr. Anderson all morning."

Edward Anderson's lips curved slightly, finding Sienna's words quite amusing.

He sat down across from Bella Scott, and after a moment, he noticed that she wasn't even aware of his presence. He reached out and gently poked her forehead.

Bella blinked her eyes, and her gaze finally focused on Edward Anderson as the person in front of her.

She had been lost in thought all morning and couldn't figure out why. If her memory was indeed mixed up, then what Tariq Lane said might be true.
