"Your love life has never been exciting, so it's not hard to guess. This is your personal affair, and I shouldn't interfere, but remember, you're about to marry Tiffany Moore. The marriage between your two families has become the talk of the town, and it's now a done deal. It's quite unkind of you to get involved with Kassidy Dean at this point."
Edward Anderson's heart leaned towards Kassidy.
The reason was simple: Kassidy was the benefactor of him and Bella, and he couldn't bear to see her possibly being deceived and hurt by Martez Parkerr, pretending to know nothing.
Martez didn't respond, so Edward continued, "You're not planning on marrying Tiffany, and then having an affair with Kassidy, are you? You're not that kind of person, and I hope you won't do such a thing."
Martez laughed wryly, "You're thinking too much. She's married, has a child, and a husband. How could I make a move on a married woman?"
Edward was at a loss for words.
