"I believe in Betty, she is not the kind of person you say she is." Martez replied calmly.
In fact, what kind of person Betty is, and what her past is like, has nothing to do with him. Right now, Betty is working for him and also protecting Kassidy, and that's enough.
Tiffany slapped the table and stood up angrily, "You used to be a man who only cared about looks, so why do you lose your mind when it comes to Betty? Can I make up such a thing..."
"You also used to be a person who didn't make things up out of thin air. Slandering a woman's reputation for no reason is not something Miss Moore would do." Martez interrupted Tiffany's words.
Why couldn't she see that staying here would only hurt her more?
Tiffany looked at Martez for a while before finally realizing that he was serious. He didn't believe her, and no matter how unwilling she was, she couldn't change that.
