On the second day, Edward Anderson was having breakfast with Jessica Scott when the manager of Cherden Hotel Oceanic Branch and his team walked in.
Although Edward wasn't happy about it, he didn't show it on his face.
Jessica seemed to know her place and acted like a little hostess, enthusiastically inviting everyone to sit down and even pouring tea for them.
Edward felt annoyed when he saw this. He coldly stared at his subordinates, and under his glare, no one dared to accept the tea Jessica offered.
Everyone trembled in fear. They seemed to have chosen the wrong time to visit. This was the boss's family time, and their arrival made him unhappy, of course.
Jessica noticed everyone wasn't sitting or drinking tea, and she understood it was Edward putting pressure behind the scenes.
"Daddy, you can talk business now. I plan to go out shopping with Auntie. If we have a great time, we will come back a little later." Jessica thought it was time to leave.
