Jessica's smile faded.
She doesn't know anything, only knows how to eat, drink, and cause trouble. Her grades aren't good either, but she's a girl and can have children like her mother in the future, which is something Cindy doesn't have.
"Son, why do I feel like you've become a different person?" Bella Scott joked.
If she wasn't sure that this was her child, she would have thought Cindy had changed gender.
Upon hearing this, Jessica tensed up: "No way, I'm Cindy! Guaranteed!"
"How could I not recognize my own child?!" Bella Scott snapped. The child would believe whatever she said; children are indeed too naive.
"Mom, I'm Cindy! Even the pearls aren't this genuine!" Jessica was just short of raising both hands in a pledge.
"I know you're Cindy, who else could you be?" Bella Scott said, both amused and annoyed.
