Clara caught a glimpse of a child hiding not far away, peeking at them with the corner of her eye.
The child had been waiting for the cafe manager since early morning, but only watched from a distance when she arrived. This scene was quite unusual. Perhaps the child knew that the manager was not easy to approach, and was afraid of offending her and being driven away?
Bella Scott glanced back at the source of the intense gaze. As soon as she turned her head, the child immediately hid. She hadn't seen what the child was wearing before the child hid as though out of self-preservation– much more tactful than Edward Anderson himself.
Isn't that why children are the most adorable beings in the world?
"Treat all the guests well, regardless of their age. Don't neglect giving them snacks," Bella said softly before entering her office.
Clara and Clarky exchanged glances. Did the manager mean that they should treat the little guest properly?
