Sun was shining, birds were flying, and a young boy was playing around on the fields. On those fields there were cows. Some of the cows were blue, some of them were red and some of them were green. The boy's name was Lohad. He had short hair, white shirt and dirty pants. He got his name from his father Ohad. Ohad was a farmer after losing his wife to some black market gangsters. He used to gamble with them in some secret casinos. However one day he lost everything including his wife. Gangster took her and sold her to some general named Squirrel Morgan. Those events left Ohad very desperate but somehow he managed to buy a farm with some different colored cows. Lohad wasn't his biological son. Ohad bought him from the local market. They both lived on a small island called sorrow. Island wasn't very popular among tourists because slavery was legal there. That was not always the case however. Two years ago the island was actually free from slavery. There were not even any laws. People lived happily and didn't even bother to do crimes. Everybody on the island knew each other. It all changed when squirrel Morgan and his crew came to the island. They were not pirates. Just a gangster who wanted to take over the island. Unfortunately to people they didn't have any weapon so squirrel Morgan managed to take over the island very easily. On that day forward, the island has turned into a place full of gambling, slavery and sorrow. Island truly lives up to its name.
Lohad picked up a rock. He looked at it with a smug face. Then he throws it to the cows head. Lohad laughed at the cow. Cow turns towards the Lohad and looks at him full of rage.
"Oh no" Lohad said and started to run.
Cow started to attack Lohad. He quickly jumped over the fence. Cow however didn't stop. It burst through the fence and this time Lohad couldn't escape. Cow hits him right from his back sending Lohad to fly. He smacked to the ground and lost his consciousness.
"What is going on here?!" Ohad screamed while coming out of the wooden house.
Ohad had shorts and a T-shirt with a smiling skull. He also had a small hair similar to his son. Ohad was shocked by what was happening and he ran to Lohad. Cow ran somewhere nearby the forest. Ohad picks up Lohad and quickly rushes back inside.
Ohad puts his son to the bed. He was panicking. Ohad took a cup of water and splashed it on Lohad's face. Lohad opened his eyes slowly. His father took a deep breath.
"Are you okay?" Ohad asked.
"My back hurts" Lohad answered.
"Don't move son. How did this happen?" Ohad asked.
"I throw a rock to the cows face" Lohad answered.
Then Ohad didn't look so worried anymore. He was completely opposite. He had a very serious face.
"You are 18 years old and you still act like a child" Ohad said.
Lohad was going to say something but his father took him by his hand and pulled him up from bed. Ohad pushed Lohad against the wall. Lohad had serious pain in his back. He barely managed to stand.
"Now you must take responsibility and go get our cow back" Ohad said.
"How should I manage to get him back while being injured?" Lohad asked.
"Are you questioning me?" Ohad asked and took a couple of steps forward.
Lohad was angry and wanted to say something but knew that it was pointless.
"No. I go get that cow" Lohad said.
"Good" Ohad said and walked to the kitchen.
Lohad walked outside. He was surprised that he could even walk. However he had no other choice but to go find that cow. Lohad looked on the ground and saw footprints and started to follow them. Those footprints lead to the nearby forest. The forest was not big but at night some creatures came out to hunt for food. Unfortunately Lohad managed to take only a couple of steps and he fainted because of his pain.
Lohad felt something sticky on his back. He carefully opened his eyes. He was laying next to a bonfire. It was midnight. Lohad got up and noticed a girl sitting next to him. Girl had long blue hair, red shirt with a text that read "I'm not flat". Lohad was surprised. He has never seen that girl before.
"What are you staring at?" Girl asked.
"What do you mean? Of course I will stare at you. I've been passed out and suddenly I wake up next to you. Who even are you?" Lohad asked.
"Calm down I found you laying on the ground and there was also a Bombo coming your way. I saved you" the girl said.
"Bombo? Are you sure? I have never seen one around here" Lohad said.
Girl pointed behind Lohad. Lohad turned around and saw a spear and on that spear was the head of a pig that had sharp teeth and two black devil horns. It was the head of Bombo.
"You killed it?" Lohad asked.
"Yes" the girl answered.
"But how? Those things are very fast and attack with pure force" Lohad said.
"He was eating some cow. That was the perfect time to attack" the girl said.
Lohad realized that it must have been his cow. He did facepalm.
"Well shit. This didn't go like I wanted" Lohad said.
"Was it your cow?" The girl asked.
"Yes it was" Lohad answered.
"Too bad" the girl said.
"Hoi! You can even pretend to be interested" Lohad said.
"Can you please shut up. I'm going to sleep" the girl said went inside the tent that was behind her.
"Are you kidding me?" Lohad said.
He took a deep breath and started to walk towards his home. On his way he was thinking about how he could explain this to his father. He will not be happy about this. Then Lohad noticed that his back pain was gone. Maybe that mysterious girl did something to him.
When Lohad got out of the woods he saw lights inside the house. That means his father was still awake. Lohad carefully sneaks close to the house and peeks inside of the window. He was surprised that his father wasn't alone. His brother Sam was there with him. Sam had a long beard, eyepatch on his left eye and he had a duck pet. Duck was drinking water from the toilet. Lohad tried his best to listen to what they were saying. He could barely hear something.
"You have to understand brother that you can't afford to join the race of dice. It's simply just too expensive" Sam said.
"How about I sell my cows?" Ohad asked.
"That's not enough" Sam said.
"Hmmm… how about my son?" Ohad asked.
Sam didn't say anything at first.
"That could work" Sam said.
Ohad gives Sam a handshake and they both have an evil smile on their faces. Lohad couldn't hear anything else but it turns out that Sam was already leaving. He took his duck and they both walked out of the house. After that Ohad removed all of his clothes, turned off the lights and went to sleep.
"Of course he didn't care if I came back or not" Lohad said.
He didn't want to go back some so instead he walked to the fields and went to sleep next to cows.
"So he is planning to sell me? Well who cares I don't like him anyway" Lohad said.
He closed his eyes and started to sleep.
