This story is about the love of four goddesses and the four true gods. 

The Spring goddess went to the mortal realm in search of the love that she had only heard of in the heavenly stories and records from the mortal realms. She didn't know the kind of love she would encounter would break her heart. 

The Fall goddess also have to face the stare of other gods and goddess who frown upon her origin even though she ascended as a high goddess and even became the Fall goddess but there are still people who think she's not worthy of being the Fall goddess. But even so, she might find love as well. 

Thousands of years later, the Summer goddess also found her way into the two goddesses' life with her own love and story as well but not too many thousand years later the last season goddess join the three of them with a big secret; not even known to herself

Lotus Love

The following morning, Hou Chi woke up at the crack of dawn to get ready for her wedding with the help of Hou Yu and the other goddesses since she was the last one of all her sisters to get married.

Hou Chi wore the red dress that Bai Jue made for her, the crown that he put together himself sat on her head as they did her make up on her. Once they were all done it was time for her to head out to the true god's palace, they helped her put on the red shoe that was gifted to her from Bai Jue and put on her red veil.

The goddess of marriage led her to her carriage as her sisters headed out to the true god's palace to wait for her arrival. Once they arrived at the gates of the true god's palace, the goddess of marriage held out her hand for Hou Chi to hold onto.

Once Bai Jue saw that Hou Chi stepped out of the carriage, he came to take her hand from the goddess of marriage. The two of them held onto the red rope and walked into the banquet hall.

The two of them stood in front of all of the gods and goddesses, the marriage gods and goddesses handled the marriage wine over to the couple. The two of them crossed arms and drank their marriage wine, they stared at each other lovingly.

The two of them faced the crowd.

"As it turn out, me and the winter goddess were meant to be since we met in the mortal realm during my trial but because of me. We bow to heaven and earth when we were in the mortal realm, we've spent our life together but we weren't fortunate enough to spend it all together." Bai Jue said to them and he turned to look at Hou Chi

"But as fate would have it, when I returned you were here, you became a goddess." Bai Jue said to her as he caressed her face with one of his hand

"And I was determined to make sure that you and I will not part again like we did in the mortal realm, I will protect you from all harm." Bai Jue said to her and she smile as she took a step closer to him.

"In the mortal realm, I was nothing but an ordinary woman but here. Here, I am a high goddess, I do not need your protection but instead, I would like your time and hope that we will get to spend the rest of our eternity together." Hou Chi said to him and he nodded

"I promise." Bai Jue said to her

"Then let the feast begin!" Qing Mu announced and every god and goddess took their seat as the lower goddesses brought out the food and music began in the banquet hall. The feast went on for the whole day before the couple returned to the winter palace.

Bai Jue and Hou Chi spent their time together as much as they could and after 100 years they were blessed with a little girl.

Even though Hou Chi was pregnant with her, what came out was a lotus, and inside was a little girl. It took another hundred years for her to wake up from inside the lotus, instead of a white lotus-like her mother she was a bright red lotus.

Her looks were like her mother's, but her attitude was as fiery as her father's. When she awoken they named her Yan Lian; the flame lotus.

Yan Lian got along with the other children of the Season Goddesses, it wasn't until 600 years later that Hou Chi and Bai Jue welcomed another 2 fiery buds into their lives. A little girl that's just like her mother in look and personality and a little boy just like their father.

Yan Lian calmed down when she saw her brother and sister, instead, she became their protector and they adored her the most as well. Their family live together happily in the nine heaven realm.

Thank you all for reading Lotus Love and being patient with me. When I was almost done with writing The Lotus Love, I became pregnant and I couldn't work and pregnant as well as continuing to write this book.
