In Skull Island's deepest basement, a mysterious room houses only a strange instrument and a five-meter-long by three-meter-wide pool filled with silver liquid.
This enigmatic room is deserted and eerily silent, with no light source except the dim glow from the running machine. Suddenly, the room brightens, and the silver liquid in the pool starts to stir as if it has come to life. A blob of liquid rises from the pool, morphing into a small girl with red hair. She examines her body and begins to walk around the secret chamber.
Anyone familiar with Ivan's artificial intelligence, the Red Queen, would recognize this girl immediately. However, her movements and demeanor are distinctly masculine, creating an unsettling impression.
"I never expected to end up using women's body. No, I can't let anyone see me like this. I need a different form. "
A man's voice emanated from the little girl's mouth, an eerie mismatch that would have scared anyone present. The Red Queen's small body swelled, growing to about 1.7 meters, transforming into a young man resembling a robot, complete with two spherical decorations on his head. These weren't mere ornaments; they could receive all satellite signals on Earth, a significant advantage for this clone.
Ivan's body remained on the Cosmic Walker, but his consciousness had temporarily transferred to this nanorobot-assembled form. He was ready to use his new identity to influence events on Earth.
"This will do for now. Let's test the strength of this body."
Ivan flexed his limbs and pointed a finger, muttering, "Avada."
A white light flashed from his fingertip, striking the wall and leaving a mark. He then chanted, "Phantom projection," several copies of him appeared out of thin air before quickly dissipating.
After testing various abilities, Ivan sighed. This clone was too weak for combat, likely inferior to Iron Man. Fortunately, he had no intention of fighting; his goal this time relied more on intellect than strength.
"It's unfortunate that the energy-simulated magic lacks flexibility and power. There is a loss during energy conversion. But most of the magic works, especially shapeshifting. If I encounter danger, I can escape. My deep research on space magic might have helped here."
Ivan retrieved a backpack from a corner of the secret room. It was a magic backpack he had created long ago, utilizing a seamless extension charm to expand its space. It contained various special items he had prepared.
"Time to find the big guy. The Avengers wouldn't be the same without him."
...
In Alabama, United States, a red-haired man suddenly appeared outside a remote farm.
"Bruce Banner sure knows how to pick a place. With its dense woods, this remote location is perfect for staying out of sight. Even satellites can't see much through the thick foliage. It's an ideal spot for Hulk to roam free, though any wildlife here wouldn't stand a chance against him."
Ivan approached the farm, his body shifting again. Longhorns sprouted from his head, and he grew taller, transforming into the demon form he had used when he first met the Hulk.
After a long day, Dr. Banner finished his farm work. He didn't feel tired as he could tap into some of Hulk's strength in his normal human form. Returning to his cabin, he enjoyed a loving meal prepared by his wife, Betty, sighing in contentment at the beauty of their life.
To hide their identities, they used nanorobots provided by Ivan to alter their appearances.
Reflecting on the past two years, Dr. Banner felt immense happiness. After making a deal with Ivan, he immediately sought out his girlfriend. Despite numerous challenges, he reunited with Betty Ross and began their life on the run together.
Being both wealthy and beautiful, Betty Ross had significant financial resources thanks to her father. Using this money, she and Bruce Banner purchased false identities and fled to a remote location, eventually buying a nearly bankrupt farm. This farm became their sanctuary, where they could find solace in each other's company.
Bruce found a way to manage the Hulk. Though farm work was tiring and not very lucrative, the companionship of his sweet wife made it worthwhile. He no longer feared accidentally harming innocent people, and Hulk could freely roam and hunt in the jungle at night, often in the company of black bears. This life was a paradise compared to his previous existence.
However, a shadow of worry always lingered in Banner's mind. He had made a deal with the devil and feared the day this peaceful life would be shattered. He hoped that day would come later rather than sooner, allowing him to enjoy his happiness a bit longer.
But some things are beyond Banner's control. One evening, as he and Betty were enjoying dinner, the sudden barking of dogs broke the silence. Visitors were rare due to the farm's remote location, and the local wildlife had long been scared off by Hulk. Instinctively, the couple stood up, alert and prepared, their faces shifting to another appearance.
"Don't be nervous, Dr. Banner," said Ivan, now in the devil's guise, as he appeared in the room.
"I'm not here to harm you. I'm just here to remind you that it's time to fulfill our contract."
Ten minutes later, only Betty remained in the room, staring worriedly at the starry sky outside. The recent conversation between her husband and the devil echoed in her mind. Was an alien invasion imminent? Was the Earth indeed in peril?
Ivan transported Bruce Banner to New York. Ivan pointed to a distant building on a rooftop and said, "You know where this is without me telling you—Stark Tower, where Iron Man resides. You can borrow his ride to S.H.I.E.L.D. and take it from there."
With that, Ivan handed Banner a USB drive and disappeared. Holding the USB drive, Banner felt overwhelmed by the responsible devil's departure. Tony Stark, the head of Stark Industries and the revered superhero Iron Man, was inaccessible. If Iron Man were to appear publicly, Banner might have had a chance, but time was running out.
Banner contemplated his options, finally gritting his teeth and choosing the most direct approach. His body swelled, and his clothes miraculously adapted to his size. Now, in his Hulk form, dressed in black, he looked at Stark Tower, calculated the distance, and leaped towards it like a bullet.
Tony Stark was in a terrible mood. He had planned a wonderful evening with his girlfriend, only to have those plans disrupted by Coulson's sudden arrival. He could only watch helplessly as his girlfriend left, leaving him to review the information Coulson had brought.
It seemed that today was not Iron Man's day. After studying the information for a while, he heard a loud crash from the roof. Looking through the glass, he saw a large figure standing there. The green skin immediately revealed his identity—Hulk—a dressed Hulk.
Tony Stark, familiar with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s dealings, knew about the Hulk. Assuming the Hulk was still an irrational monster, he quickly summoned his steel suit, donned it, and aimed his energy cannon at the intruder.
"Big green guy, do you know you're trespassing? Are you ready to pay the price?" Tony Stark's instinctive sarcasm showed as he prepared to fire.
But Hulk's response took him by surprise. Raising his hands high, Hulk shouted, "I surrender!"
Stark nearly bit his own tongue. Ready to shoot, he was left bewildered by Hulk's surrender. Wasn't Hulk supposed to be an irrational monster? Or was this some elaborate trick? Was Hulk plotting something?
Sensing Stark's suspicion, Hulk quickly shrank, his clothes adjusting accordingly. In no time, Bruce Banner stood before Stark in a neat suit.
"Won't you invite me in for a drink?"
Noticing an anomaly, Stark observed Banner's eyes—one standard, the other green. However, he chose to proceed cautiously: "You're allowed to come in and talk, but don't try anything funny. I'll fire if you do, and don't blame me if you get hurt."
Tony Stark valued his life significantly, especially now that he had started a happy life with Pepper. He instructed Jarvis to monitor Banner closely, ready to attack if any hostility was detected.
Banner entered the building and placed the USB drive Ivan had given him on the table.
"This drive contains important information. Look, I think you'll understand why I'm here."
Stark immediately ordered Jarvis to connect the USB drive and read the data, confident no virus could breach his systems.
The 3D images originally sent by Coulson were still displayed. Now, new images appeared, showing two giants, one purple and one black, with striking similarities.
Thanos, Darkseid, Demons, Chitauri, and Obsidian Generals—two major overlords in the universe and their forces—were displayed before Stark. He began to grasp the gravity of Banner's presence and the implications of the information he had brought.
"Banner, what exactly are we looking at here?" Stark asked, his tone serious.
"We're looking at a looming threat, Tony. These are the forces poised to attack Earth. We need to be prepared," Banner replied, his voice heavy with concern.
Stark took a deep breath, his mind racing.
"Alright, let's get to work. We need to figure out how to stop them."
The weight of their task settled between them, but for now, they had a plan to formulate and an impending threat to face.
