Chapter 2 : Cracking point

Chiteki and his friends would be walking to school together going over their plan, Chiteki would hand all of them an earpiece. They would put it in their ear and parted ways. When afterschool arrived Chiteki would walk up to the trophy case and press a button on the side of it. The case would open up then he used the keys he had and opened the door . " sir your cars getting towed "Chiteki said pointing out the door . " what do you mean my cars getting towed ? " the teacher said confused. " your car is getting towed right now as we speak " Chiteki responded gesturing him to check. The teacher told Chiteki to watch over the troubled kids while he went to check his car. Meanwhile, Ataeru and Gimansha were waiting for their cue on distraction, when they saw the teacher and heard the cue gimansha put the device in the car and Ataeru turned the device on. The device would turn on and sync with the car and Chiteki's phone which Ataeru had, ataeru would drive the teacher's car out of the parking lot and to the streets ending by the beach. When they saw the teacher was gone Gimansha gave the thumbs up to Miru to go on with the detention break. Miru would crawl thru the air vents, pass multiple classes and hear something about changing the schools for the " better ". When she arrived at the right vent she would signal Chiteki but he was too distracted having a stare-off and conversation with a lady. Meanwhile, Chiteki was getting suspicious by the minute, he kept asking question after question shooting down their lies. "I know you're not supposed to be here, miss." Chiteki said holding eye contact. "What do you mean ? A teacher told me to watch this place." they said trying to be innocent. " falsehood the teacher told me and the audio logs and the camera can be my evidence." Chiteki said pointing at the camera in the corner of the room. The lady would laugh then grabbed Chiteki's arm and gripped it like a vice . " you're not going anywhere the boss needs you for his plans smarts " they said whispering. Yaban would be confused while panicking on the inside, Chiteki would look at Yaban and gives them a sign to use their power. Yaban would nod then Chiteki would pull their arm out of the person's grip and then cover their eyes Yaban would open their hands creating a blinding flash stunning the person, yaban eyes would illuminate a light purple color. Yaban would then turn around then march in place, the person would then start walking out the door, Yaban would then stop and gives Chiteki a hand. Chiteki took Yaban's hand and pulled themselves up . " go through the air vent with Miru while I tamper with the security footage " Chiteki whispered to Yaban. Yaban nodded then stood up on a chair and grabbed Miru's hand, they pulled themselves up and then followed Miru. Chiteki would walk out of the room, locks the door and pushes the trophy case back into place. Chiteki walked passed the principal and the security guard with no obstacle. Chiteki would go to the security room and delete/save some files from the security feed and his drive. Chiteki ran outside and to his car "Everyone get in the car now !" he said in his earpiece. Everyone would go into Chiteki's car and he drove off, they listened to music while looking out the window admiring the sky and sun's hue. They arrived at Chiteki's house before sunset, chiteki would greet his mom, rummage through the fridge, and pulls out 6 sandwiches wrapped in plastic wrap. Chiteki would throw them each one and waves his hand to follow him. They would follow him into his backyard, and they would notice a tree house, dog toys, flowers, etc... " hey boss why is there a dog house here ? " Yaban asked Chiteki. " oh that's our dog Velvet, we adopted them when we found them near a cake shop . " Chiteki answered. Chiteki would climb their tree house while the others followed, chiteki would push some stuff out of the way, pulled out a projector, and a projector screen and sets things up. Chiteki would rummage thru a chest in the corner to pull out a marker, chiteki would pull down the curtains and turns the projector on. " now do you guys know why I called you in today ? " chiteki said pointing at the projector screen with a marker. All of them nodded while eating their sandwiches, Chiteki would tell them a plan to get more info and to finish the case that was unsolved 23 years ago. They would all go their ways to find a familiar or a family member, chiteki would arrive at an old ladies' home, he noticed the lights were on so he went up and knocked on the door . " if you're here to reassure me, pls leave your stuff here and walk away " the woman said sounding sorrow . " that's not why I'm here, I just wanna talk about your daughter and her case " Chiteki said fixing his glasses. The old lady opened her door and invited him in, Chiteki sat down and the lady offered him tea but he declined. They talked for a while and Chiteki gained info and where they used to live. Meanwhile, with the others ... Ataeru and Yaku would be at an old lab looking thru old files and documents, Yaban would be at an old school looking thru student files, Gimansha visited an old store and asks the retail cashier about the old owner, miru would be at in a forest looking for an old cave. After a while Ataeru found a worker file titled W#0747, Yaku found a file on the entity that was called " the wilting rose spirit " Gimansha found info on the old owner and where they live now, Yaban found a student file that has many quotes on it, miru found a local and got info on the cave. Afterward, they all regrouped at their hangout spot and shared information, planning to convince their parents later. " The only problem is, where do we say we are going to? " Ataeru said looking at the group "We'll just say we're going on a project to make them believe us. Besides, didn't your parents tell you to only study?" Chiteki said looking at the sky. Yaban laughed then wiped a tear off his eye then lays down . " your a laugh riot Chiteki but seriously my parents wouldn't believe a word that comes out of my mouth " . " then I'll convince them, they do love talking to me a lot" Chiteki said sitting up. Yaban shrugged and lead the way to their house. Chiteki went straight to Yaban's parents and had a long talk, since Chiteki was distracting his parents, yaban and the rest made a late-night snack and waited for Chiteki to come back. After a while, Chiteki would come back to his friends asleep on the couches. He would smile then scooted one of them over and fell asleep. He would have a dream about a road trip then would see nothing and heard a scream. He woke up and fell off the couch, yaban would look at them while putting breakfast on a plate. " nightmare again ? " yaban said putting a plate on the coffee table next to them. Chiteki would get up and grabbed the plate, eats, then woke up the others." get ready for the field trip, we're going in a few minutes "All of them ate, got ready, called their parents and the parents gave them the okay. They all decided to use Chiteki's car since all of them have a driving license but their cars were their parents. " You guys ready ? " Chiteki asked the group. All of them nodded but before they could get a move on Miru asked an interesting question. " If we solve this case what do we get out of this ? What if the police take all the credit cause "we don't fit the image and we are a bunch of dumb teens " ? " Miru said while doing air quotes. Chiteki fixed his glasses and then sighs. " That won't happen cause if they do they'll have to fight all of us in court . I have dirty info on some of them due to witnesses and friends I have on the side . They'll never see it coming ". " You're evil for that and I like it, the bad version of the " perfect student." Yaban said smiling.
