Special Episode

Cyan smiled as she tied on her apron. Today was going to be a full day.

Her sister would get to eat her favorite meal and she and her parents would get to see several of their relatives.

Castin's Day was the third biggest holiday after Nachima Day and Monarchy Day.

It was a day to spend time with loved ones, feast, and exchange gifts.

Mom smiled at the plate she was holding. "Can you bring this to your sister? I want to make sure she's okay until dinner."

"Of course!"

Someone knocked on the door.

Cyan glanced at her mom, who nodded toward the door. "Go ahead, I'll hold onto the plate," Mom said.

Cyan wiped her hands on her apron and made her way to the door, curious about who might have arrived so early. When she opened it, she was greeted by the sight of Uncle Harris, holding a large wreath made of winter berries and evergreen branches. His face was ruddy from the cold, and snow dusted his coat and boots.
