Elanor wasn’t born in Elmore town, and she’d been forced to spend most of her time in the capital back when she’d been training, but she’d been to the town before. 


Smaller than the capital but just as lively—and now with more soldiers patrolling than ever before. Demons didn’t usually risk coming this close to the barrier and the royal guard was close enough to be deployed very quickly so there was never a need for this much protection. 


They’d need to avoid the rotations while also settle in for the evening in a place that had less patrols and wouldn’t look at them with suspicion. 


Elanor knew the exact place she needed to go to, even though she’d never been, so it’d take her a moment to find it as they walked through the shopping district to get there.  


“Elmore, unlike the capital, has a stone wall surrounding it for a defense against invaders since it lacks a holy barrier. With the capital being so close the army presence here is usually small…usually.”
