*Jonathan’s POV*
I walk - yes walk - to the police station from four blocks away. Brielle, true to her word, agreed to drive me near the station with the information she gave earlier. She refused to drive me directly there because, according to her, “There are too many eyes on me right now. We’ll go out. I’ll preoccupy myself. You give them the information and we will move on from there.”
This statement accompanied with the standing order of “don’t let her out of your sight,” it would’ve been a challenge to leave the house on my own to bring the information to the chief and to the task force. Ultimately, this was the best scenario compromise that we could come up with while sitting there in the greenhouse.
