*Brielle’s POV*
Never before did I feel so relieved to remove a piece of clothing from my body. The moment Jonathan pulled into the garage, I bolted inside and scurried back to my room, wishing Jonathan a very brisk goodnight before retreating to the bathroom.
I immediately blast the hot water into my bathtub and pour the rest of my eucalyptus bubble bath into the steaming water. I pry the dress off of my body and slip into the bath, sinking in until I am up to my eyeballs. The foamy bubbles grow larger and larger, covering the entire surface area of the tub except for the small area where my head pokes out of the water.
I have no idea what happened earlier in the car, but I repeat the same phrase over and over to make sure I drill it into my skull.
Remember, you hate him.

You can barely stand that heartbreaker.
