Noah’s pov
I could not help but be worried for Zaria’s life. It was possible that very soon, they could track down Kate if they had not already.
When Zaria and I pulled up to my house, I noticed my mother and brother turn on the lights. I was certain the sound of my bike woke them up.
My mother rushed toward us. As she held Zaria beside her, she began shouting the moment she saw the state of Zaria.
“What happened, Noah?” Benjamin’s voice came out very concerned. I could not stop myself from doubting his main intention of staying here for a few days.
In annoyance, I glared at him. “Why don’t you go ask your father what he did to Zaria?!” I yelled, which got Zaria flinching a bit. “I am sorry, my Wild-Sun.”
It was a good thing she was not in her right state, otherwise she would have given me an earful about how I was being somewhat romantic with her.
It did make me seem as though, I was wasting my time, but my mom said I should not give up…so I would not give up.
