The Battle Royal

Vale appeared again in air above all students. He then waved his hands and all students except the remaining top 500 were teleported out of the arena.

Amden was surprised witnessing this scene. The first two teleportation to move the students inside the forest and then to move them outside the magical forest was done using rune formations.

But this time what Vale used was a space related technique. And considering how easily Vale was able to teleport, thousands of students in one go, made it clear to Amden that Vale was a talented space element user.

For him the academy was becoming a much more exciting place.

Vale declared in a booming voice, "Congratulations to all of you. You are now officially part of the Star Sky Academy."

He continued, "Now that we are done with the first part of the entrance test, we will move to the second part. This part if the entrance test will determine the top ten among you."

He chuckled, "Work hard to perform well. The top ten among you will receive great rewards from the Academy."

Hearing this everyone's face turned determined. All of the 500 students were pretty much talented to rank in top 500 among thousands. Now they wanted to snatch top spot for themselves.

Vale continued, "This part will be divided into two stages. The first stage will involve a battle royale."

Vale then nodded to a man behind him. The man proceeded and used his earth affinity to create 10 massive stages in the arena.

Vale continued with his instructions, "All of you will be divided into 10 groups and placed on a stage. The last person standing on each of the stage will move to the next stage of this second part."

"Thereafter the 10 of these students will engage in 1vs1 duel to determine the specific ranking. Now jump on the stages as per the number shown in your token."

Everyone gazed at their token and started to move on their stage.

Lucas was on number 1, Luna on number 2, Leo on 3, Tim on 4, Alicia on 5 and so on.

The top 10 of the first parts were placed on 10 different stages.

Rest all of the students were placed randomly. It was done to ensure that the top 10 doesn't face a strong candidate among themselves and get eliminated in the battle royal only.

And if a black horse emerged from the rest of the students, them they can only blame their bad luck.

Every one of the 500 students quickly took their position on their respective stages.

With a loud echo of Vale's voice, the battle royale started, "Start."

Everyone was of wary of making the first move. Each among them was extremely cautious.

Even a strong candidate could get eliminated if he or she were to be attacked in group. Strength along with proper strategy was required to win over this stage. 

With few more cautious moments the attacks started causing chaos and commotion on the stage. Most of the students were anxious and panicking in the chaotic situation.

Among these were few students who were still calm and composed. They were not making unnecessary moves and only keeping themselves safe. No doubt these were the top 10 students and other few capable students.

The chaos continued for few minutes before the number was eventually reduced. On each stage only few students were left and now was the time of the actual showdown.

On the stage five, a red hair girl was surrounded by 8 other students. The girl was extremely beautiful and the red hair appeared to be flowing like fire.

She was no other than Alicia Talon.

The other 8 had guessed that if they were to even have a little chance to enter the top 10, then Alicia was the one who was to be eliminated first.

Surrounded by 8 other students Alicia still had a composed look on her face.

Of the 8 student 1 was in E Rank and rest all were peak F Rank.
