Stage Winners

After his disdainful laugh, Tim fell silent and continued staring at the other students with an expression full of provocation and mockery.

The mockery in Tim's behaviour and his disdainful and the way he had been blatantly ignored—caused Alan Parker to lose control, and extreme rage took over him.

Alan Parker had no inferior status than Tim Clove and he was too arrogant and confident of his powers.

Determined to crush Tim and humiliate the Clove descendant, Alan didn't waste any time.

A spear was summoned in his hand from his spatial ring, and he moved toward Tim, his body appearing blurring to the ordinary onlookers.

Midway between him and Tim Clove, Alan leaped into the air and pointed his spear at his target.

Alan employed a battle technique- he compressed a huge amount of spiritual energy at the tip of his spear.

A formation of numerous spears made of spiritual energy surrounded his hand as they moved towards Tim.

On the other hand, Tim stood with an expressionless face, as if dazed and unable to react to Alan's extreme speed.

At the last moment, when the spear was just inches from striking Tim's chest, Alan smirked in confidence that he would defeat the arrogant kid in a single move.

But things did not go as planned.

Just as the spear neared his chest, lightning suddenly crackled all around Tim's body and surrounded him entirely.

As if taking a leisurely stroll in the park, Tim raised his right hand and gripped the handle of the spear just beneath its blade, inches away from his chest.

He stood like a mountain- steady and unmovable from his position. The spear did not budge an inch matter how much force Alan applied.

Alan was utterly bewildered and shocked. No matter how much strength he applied, every attempt to push the spear forward or even free it from Tim's grip failed.

In moments his mind started to scream of the impending danger, and he felt an intense fear bubbling deep within his heart. Instinctively, he wanted to back down, but it was too late.

Tim released his grip on the spear and stepped forward, closing the distance between himself and Alan in mere moments.

He raised his right hand as the lightning around his fists intensified and he delivered a punch.

Alan had no time to dodge the incoming blow and a powerful force struck his chest.

The punch was brutal: Alan's chest caved in and he was sent flying out of the arena.

Many of his ribs shattered, and several bones protruded from his back as he lay outside, blood oozing from every wound.

The entire spectacle shocked the remaining four students. Harsh reality struck them, making it clear that they could never hope to stand against this monster, even in their dreams.

Witnessing Alan's condition, an instinctive fear gripped their souls. Moving as fast as they could, they leaped out of the arena, effectively surrendering to the battle.

Though Tim had ample opportunity to intercept and defeat these four participants, he did not choose to waste his time on what he considered mere 'ants.'

He calmly stood on the stage as the lightning that had once enveloped his body dissipated. His face remained expressionless, yet his eyes burned with arrogance and disdain.

Meanwhile, the battles on all the stages had come to an end— each stage now hosted a single remaining participant.

On the first stage stood Lucas. Unlike Alicia or Tim, he hadn't used flashy or powerful battle techniques.

Because of this, the ordinary spectators had not taken much notice of him. However, the experienced and the battle-hardened monsters had become extremely interested in Lucas.

From the hunt in the magical forest through to the stage battles, Lucas had not expended a single strand of spiritual energy.

Relying solely on his physical strength and swordsmanship which had been further enhanced by his incredibly smooth movements, he had displayed a splendid performance.

And thus, he had caught the eye of many factions and organizations that were always on the lookout for talented individuals. And since Lucas did not have a powerful background, chances of recruiting were vey high.

On the second stage was Luna. As usual, she had used her thunder element to badly injure her opponents. Her cute face was in stark contrast with her ruthless actions.

The winner of the third stage was Leo. He had eliminated all his opponents in an extremely ruthless manner, clearly showcasing the full extent of his powers.

On the sixth stage stood Kevin Wenton, who had started at the 21st rank in the first part but had now defeated a contender from the 6th rank. Although Wenton was not from a top-tier elite family, his family was certainly among the upper tier- comparable to the Wilson family.

On the seventh stage was Iris Lopez. She was covered in injuries that testified to a hard-fought battle.

She had ranked 62nd in the first part but had somehow managed to defeat the 7th-ranked opponent on her stage. Interestingly, she was also without a powerful background.

On the eighth and ninth stages were heirs of two upper-tier families: Ronan Lyonhart and Lomaro Takate.

On the tenth stage stood Trevon Regan, another ordinary commoner.

Once again after the battle royale ended, Vale appeared in the air above.

"Now will begin the battle to determine the final ranks of you ten," he announced. "Each of you will get an hour of rest, and then you will draw lots. Whoever draws the same number will face each other."
