Intervention

The entire arena watched the event unfolding before them in stunned silence. What was transpiring on the stage was extremely shocking and something totally unexpected.

Meanwhile, the powerful individuals sitting in their VIP rooms were frowning, worry clearly etched on their faces. And everyone shared the same reason for concern—the rapid growth of the Vantistart family. Many among them wondered if the Vantistart family had stumbled upon some extraordinary luck.

On the stage, Lily was done venting her anger. Another sword of ice formed in her outstretched hand. Her sword was about to cut off Vale's hand when a sweet and feminine voice sounded just next to her.

"Mrs. Vantistart, give me some face and let him go," said the voice.

Lily instinctively turned towards the voice to a sudden presence of a lady with pure white hair of ethereal beauty standing not very far away from her. Miss. Snowfall.

Though Miss Snowfall's eyes were calm and she exuded no aura, Lily still felt a prickle of fear in her mind and instinctively tightened her grip on her ice sword.

Rexon Vantistart, sitting in the VIP room, was also alarmed by Miss Snowfall's sudden presence, and in a split second, he made his move and stood next to Lily, warily eyeing Miss Snowfall.

Seeing the couple's behaviour, Miss Snowfall laughed lightly, "Mr. Vantistart, both of you are acting as if I am declaring war against you."

On the other hand, Amden, still in the VIP room, had been intrigued by the lady's sudden presence. Even from that distance, even when the lady was just standing casually, he could feel her tremendous strength within her slender body.

The feeling Miss Snowfall exuded was far stronger than anything he had encountered before, even stronger than his grandfather, Dramon Vantistart.

Meanwhile, on the stage, Lily had a frown etched on her face. She knew that even the combined strength of her and Rexon would be no match for the lady standing before them.

"Is it some personal interest for Miss Snowfall to interfere in this matter, when you did not interfere to save the girl?" Lily questioned; her voice tight.

Miss Snowfall smiled, brighter than before, "Nothing as personal interests... but still, I need to maintain some image of the academy."

"And an academy instructor dying on the stage is not something good for that image," chuckled Miss Snowfall.

She added further, "As for me not interfering earlier, I believe it allowed you to vent your anger and personally deliver a punishment. Now, just let him live."

Lily, after a moment of silence, nodded her head. It was as Miss Snowfall said; she had already delivered the punishment and vented her anger. Giving some face to Miss Snowfall was the most sensible thing for her to do.

Miss Snowfall responded with a gracious smile, "Thank you, Mrs. Vantistart."

A few academy helpers arrived and carried away the unconscious Vale. Miss Snowfall also disappeared from the stage along with Lily and Rexon.

Most people wanted to know why Lily had intervened to save Luna. Was there some sort of relation between the commoner girl and the Vantistart matriarch?

Inside the VIP room where the two Clove brothers had been sitting; a few other people had now joined them. The two most prominent among them were Jamien Carter and Novan Acalo, the head of the Acalo family.

In addition to them, a few other people from high-tier families were also present. They were members of families who were like vassals of these elite families. Their survival depended on the whims of the elite families. And in such gatherings, their status only allowed them to listen. They would only speak when specifically asked.

The group had gathered to discuss various issues, but the sudden turn of events on the stage had left them anxious.

Novan Acalo asked with a worried expression, "Did Miss Snowfall really not react at all to your proposal?"

Fexon Clove shook his head in denial, "No, she instead warned us not to drag her into our games."

"I believe something strange is going on," said Jamien Carter, his brow furrowed. "We can understand that she didn't react to Mr. Clove's proposal, but she let that bitch go... No, she politely asked to give her face even when she beat an academy instructor almost to death."

Although no one said anything immediately, the frowns on their faces deepened. It was as Jamien said; something strange was indeed happening.

Felix, who had been silent until now, said in a frustrated voice, "What to do now? If this continues, the Vantistart family will rule all over the planet. And that little bastard gives me the most dangerous feeling. Even more dangerous than that old bastard Dramon."

Everyone was surprised after hearing this. Felix was the only one among them who had seen Amden personally. Him saying things like this when everyone in the room was at least S Rank bewildered them. What was this thing... he had awakened not more that for a few months.

"We must come up with some measures. We need to act quickly," said Novan, his voice urgent. "I believe we would need some external help and new allies."

Fexon nodded in agreement, "I will talk with my father about this."

Jamien also interjected, "I will also inform my brother and father about it."

The other people in the room also pledged their full support to their cause.

Meanwhile, in the arena, the stage was quickly restored, and another instructor took over Vale's place.

"Iris versus Ronan," announced the instructor about the next match.
