Now was the time of the fifth battle.

Alicia Telon vs Leo Acalo.

People now had come out of the shock of Iris defeating Ronan. Many among the top 500 were envious. They were not envious of Iris talent but her luck. For them it was her luck that made her reach top 5.

Alicia stood opposite Leo.

Leo didn't dawdle much. He lunged towards Alicia using a movement technique. But before he could hit her Alicia used her technique and floated in air.

Her technique gave her an overwhelming advantage. But Leo didn't stopped his attack he continued forwards and suddenly he launched himself towards Alicia at an astonishing speed.

Alicia was surprised seeing Leo's speed. She also maneuvered herself in the air. Immediately a spear made of fire appeared in Alicia's hand and she thrusted the spear towards Leo.

Leo made an shiel around him using his earth element. He chased after Alicia in air. Although his earth element provided him with greater defence his attack power was weak. He planned to battle Alicia in a close combat. Although he considered Alicia to be weak but after the previous match he didn't wanted to take any chances.

He continued chasing Alicia but she always maintained her distance. In between she used few attacks which Lep shielded easily.

But suddenly the mana around Alicia turned chaotic. The temperature in arena started to rise at an astonishing rate. The heat this time was much more severe than before.

Then came Alice's monotonous voice, "Time to end things up." The moment she finished speaking an enormous bird appeared behind Alicia. The bird was made purely out fire elemental mana. Her red hair appeared even more gorgeous with the majestic fire bird. The bird appeared like a crow but had extremely sharp claws.

Leo's expression turned grim seeing the fire bird. And then the bird moved towards Leo. He used all his mana and created the strongest shield he could. Moments later the bird struck the shield and it rumbled. Leo along with the shield was smashed on to the stage.

Debris flew everywhere and thick smoke came from the spot.

Everyone was curious about the result. Did Leo survived the attack? Soon the dust and debris cleared and infront of everyone appeared the sorry figure of Leo. He was burned at many flesh and many of his body parts were charred black. His state was extremely sorry. Alicia had won this battle. She descended from air with her indifferent face and walked down.

In the VIP room Noval was trembling with anger.

He shouted, "This bitch.. Wait one day I will definitely make you pay."

Although he wanted nothing more than to go an tear apart Alicia, he didn't acted rashly.

The man who took over Vale's position came up in the air again. He spoke, "Now we have top 5 of our entrance test. Since only two pairs can be formed one student will get a direct entry to next dound without battle. The rest four will fight. Come and choose your tokens."

Everyone moved and chose their token.

Luna had token with star engraved on it, indicating that she would go directly in next round. Lucas and Alicia got number 1. Iris and Tim got number 2.

Now was the time of semifinals.
