Revealing True Colors

In the sky, the red-haired lady spoke, "It seems that we have underestimated the brat. And this battle technique, where did he get it from? It's surely not of this planet."

Miss Snowfall, after a moment, gave her first response.

She chuckled, "Tamaya, this time the academy will surely be interesting."

The red haired lady, Tamaya did not understood what had made Miss. Snowfall so amused out of sudden.

Meanwhile, it was time for the second semi final. The battle between Tim and Iris.

They stood facing each other.

Iris was still visibly injured, covered in bruises. Tim was wearing his usual arrogant expression on his face.

He still held that grudge against Iris for ignoring him and now was the chance for him to humiliate her.

The instructor signalled the start.

In an instant, Tim charged towards Iris. Lightening was crackling all around his body. He aimed to defeat Iris in a single, decisive blow. This was the humiliation she deserved for insulting him.

Iris, at that moment, was planning to somehow dodge the attack when she received a voice transmission in her mind.

Hearing the transmission, she glanced at the sky and a trace of hesitation crossed her face. But then the next moment, her expression hardened with resolve.

By now, Tim had reached Iris and was just about to strike. But Iris, to everyone's astonishment, simply raised her palm and slapped him.

The audience was bewildered. They felt that, faced with defeat, this lucky girl had lost her mind.

But for Tim who stood directly opposite the slap, it was an entirely different experience.

He felt as if an enormous mountain was pressing down on him. He could not even twitch, and before the shocked eyes of everyone, the slap connected.

The same moment, all the lightning energy around Tim vanished. He flew through the air like a kite and was violently embedded in the arena walls. His face had been distorted beyond recognition, and his jaw had been mutilated. It went without saying that all his teeth have also shattered.

The entire arena fell deathly silent. The girl who had barely, by luck, reached this stage had slapped, literally slapped one of the strongest candidates. No one could believe what they had just witnessed.

Even Amden, who from the very beginning had an inkling about Iris, was barely able to believe it.

Although he had suspected that Iris was strong enough to deal with Tim, her display of such overwhelming power was something he had not anticipated.

Moments later, a beastly roar echoed in the arena, and Fexon charged towards Tim. He quickly went down and forced a few pills in his mouth.

He was about to turn and unleash his anger on Iris when Miss Snowfall descended onto the stage along with Tamaya.

Before anyone could react, Snowfall spoke, "Good."

"You can acknowledge me as your master," she added stunning the entire audience.

Iris's expression turned to one of pure happiness. Being a commoner, she had faced all kinds of discrimination. She had been also suppressing her strength to avoid attracting too much attention.

She knew that either she would have to become one of the servants of those powerful families at the top or they would eliminate her the moment her talent surpassed theirs.

But now, she had an opportunity.

It had been Snowfall who had sent the voice transmission.

"Iris, do not suppress yourself. Show your true battle power. Do not worry about the consequences."

And after seeing the hesitant expression on Iris's face, she had added again, "Do not worry. I am a grand elder of the academy, and I would also like to take you in as my personal disciple."

Grand elder of the academy. The legendary Miss. Snowfall. Even Iris had known about her.

Iris immediately moved and bowed before Snowfall, "Disciple greets Master."

A smile appeared on Snowfall's face as she patted Iris' head. This whole turn of events was a shock to all of the spectators.

Fexon was trembling with rage but now did not even dare to open his mouth.

"I will meet you the battles ends," Miss. Snowfall replied. "Go and continue."

With this both she and Tamaya vanished from the stage.
