Pursuit Special
Snake and Fox rushed out of the arena and hopped into one of their trucks, Fox took the steering wheel and began driving away as the Metal Gear broke down through the building and began chasing after them.
"He's a persistent bastard!" Fox stated, Big Boss then began firing the Vulcan Gun at the truck, making Fox swerve around. Suddenly, Snake noticed the other truck with their friends was heading into a blockade. Quickly, Snake fired the RPG at the blockade as they caught up with the others but Big Boss was closing in,
"We need to hit the walking stabilizer again! He's probably putting a lot of effort into the Metal Gear sprint which is why he's not attacking us as much." Fox stated, Snake then looked at a platform that had multiple buildings on top of it and the crest of Outer Heaven painted on the tallest building.
"I got it! We're going to lure him to those buildings, the Metal Gear will be trapped, he'll have nowhere to move!" suggested Snake, Fox nodded and did a sharp turn to the left, Blackbird and the others spotted this,
"What are they doing?!" Ellen exclaimed,
"No time to think!" Blackbird replied as he did a sharp turn and followed after them. Unknowing to them, a mercenary who survived the explosion got up and spotted them heading in the direction of the Metal Gear, he quickly grabbed his radio and moved it close to his face,
"
"FUCK! Blackbird we got company!" shouted Viper, Ellen got up and grabbed an RPG then leaned outside and shot a helicopter down. Another one was coming closer and was about to blow them up with a rocket until suddenly, they were shot down from the air. The group turned to see where it came from only to see Eagle Eye in his plane shooting helicopters down, Blackbird and the others cheered in excitement,
"This is Eagle Eye, consider this my resignation from FOXHOUND, Big Boss!" Eagle eye shouted in the plane's speaker,
"Alright, Eagle Eye!" Steel shouted,
"We aren't just going to stand in here, let's try to keep them off of Fox and Snake!" ordered Ellen, Viper and the Eagles nodded and grabbed their machine guns and rocket launchers, they climbed on top of the truck and began shooting at the soldiers as Eagle Eye gave them cover fire. Meanwhile, Snake and Fox were driving away from the pursuing Metal Gear, Snake spotted the others fighting the mercenaries, he saw the incoming platform they were about to enter and then quickly turned to Fox,
"When I tell you to jump, you jump off! Don't worry about me, I'm going to take this thing out l, you help the others, got it?!" shouted Solid Snake, Gray Fox nodded and floored the gas pedal. Big Boss gritted his teeth and pushed the lever further, he could see the flashing monitor warning him about the walking stabilizer, he didn't care and just let out a battle cry and pushed the lever harder than ever, nearly snapping it off. They were just about to approach the platform, Fox got up as Snake sat in the driver's seat, he then jumped off the truck, landing on the platform as Snake and the Metal Gear headed to the Command Deck. Gray Fox noticed the mercenaries arriving with their tanks and surrounding him, their guns drawn and locked onto him. Gray Fox closed his eyes, regaining his focus from the sounds he was already used to, the sounds of his childhood, he then glared at the men with such fury and rage.
"ALRIGHT YOU FUCKS, MAKE ME FEEL IT, MAKE ME FEEL ALIVE AGAIN!" Fox cried out as he charged at a group of them and sliced multiple men in half, he then sliced another in half then cut three of their heads off and then used one as a human shield. Multiple tanks fired their cannon rounds but Gray Fox cut them right before they could even hit him. Fox then grabbed onto a nearby helicopter,
"
"Next?!" Fox said in a raspy voice. The men all began shooting but Fox dashed, deflecting the bullets and leaping at them, beginning his killing spree. Meanwhile, Snake was still driving and grabbed his RPG and M72 LAW, he looked back and kept firing rocket after rocket into the leg armor, chipping it slowly through each blast. He could see the sparks fly out from the legs,
" Alright David, time to cripple this hunk of junk. " thought Solid Snake, he quickly placed every single C4 onto the truck, he knew this was do or die, one opportunity. Solid drove the truck slightly to the right, he could feel the monstrous stomps of the Metal Gear gaining on him, it was now or never. Quickly, Solid Snake opened the door and leaned out of the truck, he took a deep breath as he approached the Command Deck. Solid leapt onto the platform then shot the tires of the truck, forcing it to swerve and flip backwards. Once it was close to the walking stabilizer, he grabbed his detonator and pressed his thumb down on the button,
"THERE!" screamed Solid as the truck blew up, the explosion destroyed the walking stabilizer, forcing the TX-55 Metal Gear to trip and fall forward into a building, causing that building to collapse on top of it. After the building collapsed, Solid Snake took in a deep breath and sighed in relief, half of his torso was exposed as the top of his uniform ripped once he landed. Once he got up, he saw the rubble of the destroyed building slowly shake, Snake grabbed his bow and regained his focus. In the center of the buildings, surrounded by a ring of fire emerged the TX-55 Metal Gear with its legs heavily damaged. There was nowhere none of them could go, it was down to just them, Big Boss and Solid Snake. Snake gripped on the bow as Big Boss gripped onto the main wheel,
"IT'S SHOWTIME, SOLID SNAKE!"
