Revenge

A week has passed since Troy's humiliation and things are not going right for him.

It was the beginning of the day and Troy came knocking over the entrance of the door like he always does. "Guess who's here!"

However, nobody answered him as the hallways remained silent.

"Guys it's me! The captain of the football team!"

But nobody answered Troy and they went back to their usual business.

"Whatever! You guys are just jealous because you aren't like me, the captain of the football team and the King of High School's best man!"

As Troy walked to his precalculus class, people around him were spreading rumors and kept looking down at Troy as what he did was really unforgivable.

"Yeah, if he's the captain of the football team, why did he break one of his teammates' legs and attempt to beat up another student in front of us."

"Shouldn't he be arrested for murdering another student if what he said is actually true."

"Just don't look at him. He only wants our attention, that's all."

Although Troy was surrounded with rumors and being looked down on, he cared nothing but calling the students around him jealous.

"You guys are jealous, I tell you. JEALOUS!" Troy screams to the top of his lungs.

As Troy was approaching the door of the classroom, someone came to stop him.

"Troy Watanabe, can I have a word with you in my office?"

When Troy looked who it was, it was Coach Gordan, the football coach and Scott's gym teacher.

"Coach how's it been? I'm sorry but I have to-"

"Now!" Coach Gordan having a solemn tone at Troy.

Not wanting to cause a scene, Troy followed Coach Gordan to his office near the gymnasium.

As they went into the office, Gordan sat on his seat, while Troy sat on a folding chair next to Gordan.

"So as of last week, I heard what was on the intercom."

"And so what, Coach."

"And what you said there. Breaking one of my teammates legs, beating another one up, what were you thinking Troy?"

"Sir that's not me, it must be someone impersonating me."

"Um I don't think so, I've known you for a long time and that voice on the intercom is definitely your voice."

"Sir please, let me explain."

"Okay Troy. Then explain why there is blood in the boys locker room and you claim that you beat one of my teammates up."

"Well you see sir, that 's actually concentrated fruit punch and-"

"What an excuse. What's your next excuse, him accidentally spilling marinara sauce while eating a meatball sub."

Troy was looking at the floor knowing the consequences he's facing.

"But what I hate the most is that you lied to me, Troy!" Coach Gordan then brought out a bag of sports drink mix on his desk.

"On the intercom, you claim that you framed Dwayne for being a large size, while you told me that he consumed all the drink mix. So tell me, what really happened to the drink mix."

"I-I poured it all down in the toilet just so I can try to purposely kick Dwayne off the team."

"Wow, you were actually being honest this time. Well for what you did against my teammates and for framing Dwayne for his body, I have no choice but to kick you off my team."

Troy was in shock. "WHAT WHY!"

"Because of what you said on the intercom. I don't trust you with my team anymore. And besides that, if what you said is true about murdering another student and nearly starving another student to death, then I think you're a threat to the football team."

"But Coach, you need me. We are approaching our last game and you need a leader to lead your team. Who should be leading them then."

Coach thought about it. "Well this might be a stretch, but I'm considering putting Dwayne back on the team since what he did isn't actually true, and his unique skills on the field, he might be a great leader to end our season off."

Troy then made a panicking laugh. "Hm, you think that fatass you lead a team that I build."

"You didn't build that team Troy, you destroyed it and it's my job as a Coach to bring our team back together. Besides that , your attitude doesn't fit a leader."

"You son of a bitch!" Troy started to get angry.

"See Troy. With that attitude you aren't going anywhere with that. Now leave my office."

With no choice, Troy threw the folding chair to the wall and left Coach Gordan's office slamming the door.

"Control your damn anger issues." Coach Gordan watches Troy leave his office.

Meanwhile, Scott, Jim, and Dwayne were looking around to see the aftermath of Troy's downfall.

"Wow it looks like the crowd is starting to talk more about Troy's situation more than ever." Scott looked around.

"Yeah, he was someone people looked up to. Now people want to avoid him as much as possible." Dwayne looked around as well.

"I also wonder whether Troy is still going to keep his position as the captain of the football team."

"Don't worry son. I terminated his position." Someone said from behind Dwayne.

When Dwayne turned around, it was actually Coach Gordan.

"Coach Gordan! I didn't expect you to be behind me. What do you mean his position got terminated?"

"Well you see, I've noticed even before the intercom announcement that Troy has been acting really tough on the team. I thought it was good since discipline is an important factor of winning the season. But I never noticed he would instead abuse his powers to hurt the team."

"Including you Dwayne." Gordan put his hands on his shoulders.

Dwayne looked at Gordan. "Wait, do you now realize?"

"After what the intercom said, I finally started to realize that you didn't take all the drink mix for yourself after all. Troy confessed when he came into my office and I'm sorry for accusing you of taking the drink mix."

"It's fine Coach, even if I was still on the team or wasn't framed, I still wouldn't team up with Troy."

"But Coach, why did you really come here?"

"Well Dwayne, since I terminated Troy's position as the captain, I was thinking of putting you back on the team."

Dwayne's eyes flared up. "Wait really!"

"Yes Dwayne, it doesn't matter whether you're fat or skinny, what really matters is the skill you have on the field and I can already tell you're one of the best quarterbacks I've ever had on my team."

"And not only that, I want to give you the position of the Captain of the Football Team."

Dwayne was happily hyperventilating. "Coach, I don't know what to say!"

"You don't need to say anything, I saw that you care for your teammates and with that caring personality you have. I think it's best that you are the new captain of the football team."

With Dwayne being so happy, he hugged Coach Gordan so hard. "Coach. Thank you for giving me a second chance. This means so much to me."

"I know it is, I know it is." Gordan pat Dwayne on the back.

They both then stopped hugging.

"Since this is our last game of the season, I suggest you go tell your teammates that you're back on the team and that you're the new Captain."

"I will Coach Gordan!"

"Then that's settled, I'll see you during practice after school."

"See ya!"

Coach Gordan then left Dwayne as he headed back to the gymnasium.

"Guys I can't believe it, It's a miracle! I never knew I could get my chance to be back on the team!"

"And not only that, you got promoted to being the captain of the team!" Jim added on.

Dwayne smiled while tears went down his chin. "Guys, I also want to thank you. The first thing was that I met you guys in the school library just studying for my midterms. And now we're here as I got my position back and made great friends."

No problem Dwayne. As a formal baseball player, I know how it feels to lose something you're passionate for and I support your success as a football player." Scott being happy for Dwayne.

"Well since I got my position back and I'm now the captain, I should try to find my other teammates about the news." Dwayne wiped his tears.

"Go for it Dwayne, they must've missed you so much as their teammate." Scott smiled.

"Yeah. I hope you guys come to the last football game of the season. I swear to end this season off with a bang."

"Sure Dwayne, I'll be there."

"Well although I'm not that interested in sports, I'll do anything to also support my friends." Jim is also happy for Dwayne.

"Well then, I'll see you guys around. Thank you for what you did for me!" Dwayne then left Scott and Jim as he ran to find the rest of his teammates.

"Looks like things do have happy endings." Jim watches Dwayne run in the hallway.

"They sure do." Scott putting his hands in his pockets.

"But Jim, I have a question for you?"

"What's that Scott."

"Do you know anything about using old technology?"

"Sort of why?"

"Because there's something that I want to take care of." Scott looks at the camera that's been looking at him for so long.

Meanwhile, it was now the evening at John's mansion and things were still going bad for Troy. Losing his position as captain, people seeing him as a terrifying person, and his reputation being ruined just by one intercom announcement.

In the mansion's personal gym, Troy kept punching his punching bag so much that he formed many dents on the bag causing it to rip open with the stuffing coming out.

"GOD DAMN IT GOD DAMN GOD DAMN IT!" Troy kept punching the bag.

Soon, the chain of the boxing bag snapped open causing it to fall to the ground. However, Troy kept punching it nonstop even though the bag was already bruised up and broken.

"Scott, you fucking stupid ass bitch! YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME YOU FUCKING DICK!"

As Troy kept punching his bag, he soon started to wear out as he laid his head on the punching bag crying on it.

"Damn it! Damn it. Damn...it. What am I going to do now?" Troy cried on the punching bag.

"Oh Troy, with all the pride you had inside you, you were somehow humiliated from the school." John appears behind Troy.

"J-John. What are you doing here? I-I thought you were at the pool with Laura."

"Oh she won't mind. With all the energy she has in her system, she would love to swim around many laps in the pool."

"Troy. What I'm really here for is what really happened in school? How did your cockiness manage to be on the intercom? Luckily, I wasn't mentioned in that bitch's death."

"I-I don't know. Scott and his friends must've snuck in the office and blasted me on full volume. I think t-this must be revenge for what we did to Ashley."

"Hm, revenge huh. All I wanted was to be friends with you Scott and this is how you repay me back."

"Not only that John, but Scott somehow transformed our school nerd into this somewhat cool looking guy. He's terrorizing our plan for Sunshine High!"

"You mean Jimmy Wilson. I never knew Scott had so much potential in him. But at the same time, he wants to sabotage my chess pieces."

John was thinking harder than ever.

"Scott, I worked so hard for you to be a part of us. A place where Sunshine High will accept you no matter what. And this is how you pay me back?"

John then looked at Troy.

"Troy. Get your ass up now."

"John, p-please let me have a moment I-"

"NOW!"

Troy then stood up.

"Listen Troy. I can still forgive you for what happened last week and we can just brush it off as if it never happened. But I want you to do me a favor."

"W-What is it?"

"I want you to kill Scott, Jimmy, and Dwayne. They sabotaged you and soon they will come after me as they are taking away this kingdom that I've so long built. Don't you hate them Troy? Your anger telling you to just fucking kill them."

"Yes. YES! I WANT THEM TO FUCKING DIE!"

"Good good. I don't hesitate in replacing Scott, Jimmy, and Dwayne. I can just find more people near my kingdom and replace those three. Like how I did with Jimmy."

"Yes John. You are the King of High School. You decide who can be part of your story and who shouldn't."

"That's correct Troy. However, if you try to fail like you did so many times."

Soon, Troy felt pain on his torso as he looked down. It was actually John that stabbed him using his stiletto knife as blood soaked Troy's white shirt.

"Then I'm not afraid to replace you. I can find many meatheads in this stupid town that can actually follow my rules and do what I desire them to do. But you were nothing but a pet to me."

Troy was breathing heavily.

"So what do you say Troy. Will you kill them for me?"

"Y-yes. For the King of High School."

John then took his knife out of Troy's body. "Good. I suggest you try to kill them before the football season comes to an end. Half of November is already over, so I suggest you kill them as quickly as possible."

"Babe! Come swim with me please!" Laura shouting from the pool.

"Coming my darling!"

John then left the door. "You better kill those three. And if you don't. Then I'll kill you myself."

John then left for the pool.

With blood coming out of his torso, Troy collapsed to the ground hyperventilating as his life is now dependent on Scott, Jim and Dwayne's death.

Back at Sunshine High, it was the evening and Scott and Jim were both wearing very dark hoodies, black jeans, black boots, and ski masks that cover their faces besides their eyes. Besides that, Scott was carrying a bag full of things that even Jim is very unaware of.

"What's in your bag?" Jim looked at Scott's bag.

"You'll find out when we get inside."

"But how are we going to get inside? The doors are locked and it's very late."

"Trust me Jim. Back in Des Moines, I did this at my old high school just to get my laptop from my homeroom."

Scott then pulls a crowbar from his bag.

"A crowbar?" Jim questions Scott's actions.

Scott then put the edge of the crowbar on the bottom of the window and then try to crank it open. With a bunch of muscle, Scott then got to open up the window breaking the lock of the window on the inside.

"Scott, hold on a minute! Isn't this trespassing. If the police find out then-"

"Then what, arrest us? Trust me Jim, I've biked around the whole area of Sunshine Valley and I haven't seen any police officers anywhere."

"But that doesn't make any sense. What kind of town wouldn't have any police or even a police station?"

Scott looks at Jim. "That's why I'm trying to figure out."

Scott and Jim jumped through the window and headed into the building.

"Okay Jim. So the reason why I called you here is because I need help taking down those cameras."

"Oh yeah. I also noticed there were more cameras than before at the beginning of the school year."

"Sure Jim, but here's what I really want to know. Why is it that those cameras are directly looking at me and Ashley before? It's like someone is watching my every move. Not to mention that they are literally everywhere in the school from our precalc class to even the bathroom."

"The bathroom?"

"Yeah I don't understand that either Jim."

Scott then looked at the disabled cameras. "If there's a camera, then there must be a monitor that connects through it. If we can find where the monitors are, then we can try to disable these cameras permanently and maybe stop feeling insecure about being in school."

"Yeah Scott that makes sense. Then let's find where it's coming from."

Scott and Jim then looked around the school to see where they would find the origin of the cameras. They would later then think of the only place that they would think of. The school's office.

"Alright Jim. The source must've come from the school's office. If not then we should try to keep looking and see who's really spying on me."

With the door unlocked, Scott and Jim went into the office and found another room next to the Principal's desk. Approaching the door, Scott would then open the door expecting a room full of monitors. But it wasn't a room full of monitors. It was instead the principal's closet full of his old suits, yearbooks, and everything that belonged to the principal.

"Are you serious?" Scott is feeling a little frustrated.

"Then where the hell are the monitors!" Scott then kicked the Principal's desk.

"Scott cool it." Jim tries to calm Scott down.

He then would take a few deep breaths to calm his nerves. "Alright. I shouldn't let my anger take the best of me. Let's keep looking around and find those monitors.

They then continued to look around and found out that all the doors from the classrooms were unlocked. However, no matter which door they looked into, none of them had the monitors that were associated with the camera. Scott and Jim were now sitting on the floor being exhausted from walking around the whole school.

"S-Scott. We looked everywhere and we didn't even see where the monitors were."

"We can't give up Jim. I know they are here somewhere. I bet someone who's watching me is a step ahead of us not wanting us to find out where they are."

Then Jim thought about this. "Wait Scott, I think there is one place that we haven't seen yet."

"Yeah and what would that place be?"

"Think about it."

Scott thought about it and then finally had a realization.

"Oh my God. I should've thought of this earlier!"

Scott and Jim then went into the only place that they never thought about.

"The Newspaper Room. The place that used to be Lopez's janitor room. And now it's a place where the school newspapers are being published."

"Scott. At the beginning of the school year, I also realized that there was something that was missing, but then for some reason couldn't remember it. Now my memories are clear, I remember this room used to be a janitor room even before you came here. But for some reason, I never knew it then became a newspaper room."

"So it wasn't just Ashley who just realized that."

"Nope. This place used to be the janitor room where Lopez usually hangs around when there isn't a mess."

Scott then went into the door knob expecting for the door to be opened. But it didn't open. It was locked.

"Huh. Locked." Scott looking at the door knob.

"If that door is locked, then it's most likely that the monitors are in there."

"If that's the case." Scott then kicked the door open with his pure strength.

The door opened and Scott and Jim couldn't believe their eyes. Around them were monitors that surrounded the whole Newspaper Room.

"Oh my God." Jim looked in the room.

"So that's why this room became the 'Newspaper Room.' It's just so the school doesn't get suspicious and try to cover it up with this room." Scott also looked around.

"If Andrew is in control of the 'Newspaper Room' then don't tell me."

"I think so Jim. Andrew must've been spying on me and Ashley. But why though? Why is it that he's taking pictures mostly about me?"

"And who is he working for?" Jim adding up to Scott's questions.

"Jim. We're technically in the beginning of the school year. I think we got some time to find out what the hell this place is and why John considers himself 'The King of High School.' The thing we're here for is to put these cameras down."

"You're right Jim. Let's put them down." Jim then went to the desk where it controlled all the monitors looking at the controls,

"So Jim. You actually know how to use old tech like this."

"Yeah. I read all the books in my house that had information about old technology. I think I can manage to disrupt its electrical circuits and permanently turn these cameras off forever."

Jim then opened the panel that holds all the electrical circuits for the cameras. He would then turn on the monitors that then would on all the screens in the room.

"Oh my God. These are all the places where I usually go to. I think these cameras were specifically spying on me." Scott was horrified by all those monitors.

"Don't worry Scott. With a few circuits disrupted, I think I can end your stalking situation." Jim then disconnected all the wires in the panel causing all the monitors to go off.

"And there you have it Scott. Your cyber stalking problems are finally gone."

However, the monitors then started to go up again with all the screens turning on again.

"What the hell!" Jim looked behind him. "I disabled all the circuitry in the main panel. How are they still on? There's a chance that they are using an emergency generator to keep these cameras on."

While Jim was thinking of another way to shut down the monitors, Scott then was suspicious of how the cameras work in the school. He then would look at the controls and saw this button that looked like a rewind button.

"A rewind button?" Scott then would push it.

When pushing it, Scott would see old recordings of what the cameras were capturing. From the scene with Troy and Jim making a crowd around them, Troy flexing his trophy on every student around him, Mr. Cheung walked to his class in the beginning of the class, John letting others following him holding Laura's hands, to recordings near the beginning of the school year.

"This is a whole recording of the beginning of the school year to now."

Suddenly, Scott saw a recording of Ashley during the homecoming dance. Scott would follow every monitor that would capture Ashley's appearance. On the recordings, she would finish using the bathroom and then would walk across the hallway. She then would enter the "Newspaper Room" that would be later followed by Troy.

"What the hell is going on?"

When Troy went into the room, he was followed by Laura who would then be seen locking the door of the room. There was banging in the room and Laura was just there holding down the door so Ashley wouldn't get out.

"Don't tell me."

A few minutes later, Laura would be seen unlocking the door with Troy coming out of the room. With Ashley hanging onto Troy with blooding coming out of her neck. The blood would then be seen causing a trail that Scott would later find out in the next day.

"Troy. It was you." Scott gripped his crowbar.

"IT WAS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Scott then would use his crowbar and smash every monitor in the room.

"Scott!" Jim being startled by the noises of Scott smashing every monitor.

However, Scott couldn't hear Jim as he was so angry that he broke every monitor with his own crowbar as well as the desk of the monitor.

"Scott Scott Scott!" Jim tries to hold down Scott.

"Let go of me! It was Troy. He killed Ashley!"

"Scott! You got to get a hold of yourself. I understand what Troy did to Ashley is unforgivable. But you can't let your anger get the best of you. Look at Troy. His anger got the best of him that he humiliated himself and lost what he knew. Do you want to be like him?!"

Scott then started to calm down. "No. No I don't."

"Scott, please trust me. Troy and John had taken my family from me and there might be a chance that I'll never see them again. But I can't let my emotions get the best of me. So Scott, don't be like Troy and let your anger control you. If you do, then you're no different than Troy."

Scott then got up by himself. "You're right Jim. I don't want the same mistake to happen again. I was exiled by the neighborhood that I grew up in and I wanted to make up for my mistakes in my mom's childhood neighborhood."

"And I want this nightmare to end so I can find my family again. It's been half a year since I've seen them."

"Yeah Jim."

Once Scott calmed down, it seems like they accomplished their goals of taking down all the cameras in the school. With all the monitors broken and the main controls being destroyed by Scott. It seems that the cameras no longer work and are permanently disabled.

"Well Scott. The good news is that you disabled the camera."

Scott looked around him once again. "Yeah. I guess I did. Since we got what we came here for, let's get out of his shithole."

Scott and Jim then left the school from the window that they came in from and was going to part ways.

"Hey Scott forgot to mention. Dwayne's first and last game of this season will be held this Saturday. Let's go together to support him. He deserves to be the captain of the football team for all the hard work he's done."

"Yeah I will. As an athlete myself, I should support his football career."

"Alright Scott. See you tomorrow!"

"You too!"

Scott and Jim then parted ways heading back to their homes.

In the next few days, Scott and Jim would look on the bleachers as Dwayne trains his teammates for their final game. Although some of the teammates were physically damaged by Troy's rampage. Dwayne still manages to train them telling them to do the best that they could.

Meanwhile, Laura and her cheerleading squad were practicing as well as they are getting ready for their best cheer for the football team's final game.

"Looking good Laura!" Scott yelled from the bleachers.

But Laura just gave Scott a frowning look. "Shut up. This stinkin team wouldn't be the same without our awesome Troy."

"Hey it's his fault for assaulting his own teammates."

"Uhhhhh Whatever!" Laura then went back to her training.

Meanwhile, Troy looked at the team from a distance, still being angry that his position was taken from him. "You think you can take my whole team away from me! I swear to God that I'm going to kill you Scott, Jim, Dwayne, and especially you Gordan!"

A few days had passed and it was the day of the game. Many people from the town were heading to the football stadium as they were hyping Sunshine High's football team for their last game of the season.

"Scott, you can't believe this. The whole town of Sunshine Valley is heading to the game. Can't you believe that?" Jim is talking to Scott on the phone.

"Yeah I see it from the window of my room. Where are you at by the way?"

"Oh I'm already on the bleachers. I will save you a spot when you get here."

"Aight I'll be there. Make sure Troy isn't near us alright. I still don't trust him after what he did to Ashley."

"Roger that. I'll see you there." Jim then hung up the phone.

Scott then left the door. "I'm heading to the game mom!"

"Alright sweetie. Come home before midnight alright."

"I will!" Scott then got on his bike and rode to the football stadium.

Meanwhile in the boys locker room. Dwayne has been hyping up his teammates for their final game.

"Alright team, this is our final game. We've been practicing ever since I became the captain. I know we got this." Dwayne huddled his team in.

"But Dwayne. After Troy abused half of the team, I don't think we'll ever stood a chance against the opposing team. One of our teammate's legs is still broken and the other's nose is still stocked from Troy's punch."

"Guys ignore that asshole. He doesn't know what it truly means to be a captain of a football team. I'm not saying that I'm a perfect captain. But all I'm saying is to try your best out there. Is that cool with you all?"

Dwayne's teammates are a bit confident. "Yeah captain."

Coach Gordan then came into the room. "Alright boys, this is our last game. Like Dwayne told you all, I don't care if you guys don't win. I cared if you give it your all out there. Now huddle up yall!"

Coach, Dwayne, and his teammates put their hands in the middle.

"SUNNIES ON THREE!"

"ONE TWO THREE SUNNIES!!"

"Now that's the spirit! Go get them y'all!"

Dwayne and his teammates then left the boys locker room as they were ready to play ball.

"Kids these days. Being all young and energetic."

"I agree, Coach. We teens are energetic." Troy approached from behind

Coach Gordan looked behind him. "Oh it's you. What the hell are you doing in this room? I thought you were gone from my team."

"Am I really gone? Or is it just that you make the biggest mistake of your life."

"That wasn't a mistake Troy. The reason I terminated your position is because you destroyed half of my team and you believe that you are a good captain. As a true captain. I know what's right and wrong for my teammates, like what to do and not to do for my teammates."

"But I did the right thing for them. If they can't win the games, then they are the mistakes themselves and I'm just trying to help you fix them."

"By giving one of my teammates a frickin bloody nose?"

"Hey. I mean it's his fault for assaulting me, the best friend with the King of High School."

"Fine Troy. Let me recommend something to you. Get your bitchass selfish attitude out of my face and never be near my team ever again do you hear me!"

Troy then looked at Gordan with a smiling face as he laughed a little bit.

"Yeah, laugh as much as you want. Nothing will change my mind."

"Oh Gordan. I'm not laughing at you for that reason. I'm actually laughing because I want to do this."

Troy then threw a glass bottle at Coach Gordan filled with some sort of substance.

"Really Troy. You think a glass of water can hurt me."

"Oh I don't think that was water in that bottle."

Coach Gordan then sniffed himself and realized something.

"Oh my God." Gordon ran away from Troy heading to the exit of the boys locker. Once he reached the showers, he accidentally slipped on some water causing him to fall to the ground.

"Oh god. Please no!" Gordon on the floor begging for his life.

"Coach, it was so nice meeting you, but I don't think a black coach can fit in John's fairytale." Troy ignited his lighter.

"P-please. Please."

Troy then throws his lighter at Coach Gordan burning him alive from the gasoline that was thrown at Gordan as he screams in pain and agony.

Gordon's scream would become silent as he died with burns all over his body as well as his eye coming out from its socket.

"Oh Scott. Time for you to meet your demise."

Near the football stadium, Scott rode to the parking lot of the football stadium as he tried to find a place to park his bike. Once he found somewhere to lock his bike up, he then walked to the entrance of the football stadium until he was struck by something.

"Ouch what the hell!" Scott felt a pain in his knee.

He looked down to see what the sensation was until he saw what seemed like a dart. Scott pulled it out of his leg until he started to feel something. Scott starts to doze up as he feels like his whole body feeling numb and his eyelids starting to close. Tring to resist, Scott couldn't resist the effects causing him to fall down to the ground.

"W-What." Scott's were starting to close until he saw what seemed like a guy walking towards him.

Scott's eyes closed as his body fell to the ground, unable to move.
