The New Age of War

As people brought in the New Year, Jim Houseman walked into a luxury building, he walked to the front desk and looked at the desk worker,

"Houseman, I have a meeting." He said to him as he showed the front desk worker his unique ID and allowed him to enter the building. Jim walked and entered into the elevator, he pressed his card against a scanner which revealed a hidden button that had the number 0 beside it. He pressed it and waited for the elevator to arrive at the floor, he entered a dark meeting room which had other people both men and women sitting around at tables while one man was right in front of the window, waiting for Houseman,

"Status report, Houseman." He said in his British accent,

"Campbell just told me Solid Snake went off the grid, do you want me to track where he's going?" asked Houseman,

"No, no, not yet. We have much to do now that Jack is dead. For now, let Solid Snake wander on his own and move our attention to his mother. Now that Jack's forces are dwindling, frame Tatyana's Paradise Lost Mercenaries as terrorists then let the other countries do the rest." explained the man,

"What of the boy and Solidus?" another member asked,

"For now, let Solidus remain as president until we come up with other plans. As for Liquid, well, he always has a way of trying to get attention. Now that Jack is dead, it'll be no surprise if he comes up with a scheme of his but that's why Ocelot is there, to keep tabs on him." The man got up to reveal his white hair and scar on his left eye,

"Ladies and gentlemen, this has been a very progressing year, we have brought down Big Boss and his Outer Heaven army and now we shall exterminate the last of our enemies and usher in a new age for The Patriots in the millennium." He stood up and raised a glass,

"To the future and to the Patriots!" Announced the man,

"Yes Zero, to the Patriots!" Houseman replied, everyone else said, "to the patriots!", raising their glass to the new age of war.
